In 2012, there was a Kickstarter for a 3rd Animusic and was going to be a real thing. However, one of the co-creators left during development and Wayne Lytle was suffering with stress and so the entire project was sadly scrapped and Animusic HQ’s was closed in 2017.

I feel bad for any planets in the way of those lasers.

I feel like the marble machine is a mix between Pipe Dream, Drum Machine, and Acoustic Curves. The steel ball bearings being the pipe dream part, the gears and pulleys being the drum machine part, and the xylophone and guitar being acoustic curves.

The instruments you see in Stick Figures by Animusic are an electric bass guitar, a drum set, a timpani, a triangle, clappers, French Horns and baritone horns, an acoustic guitar, red and purple laser synthesizers, a pan flute, a vibraphone, violins and a double bass.

future retro was my favorite song as a kid, but as ive grown, the drastic shift to one of the nastiest basslines ive ever heard solidifies this as one of the very best animusic songs i also love how all lasers in animusic wobble to signify modulation. that's the visual that's always in my head when i hear synths ok last one so yeah wintergatan is pipe dream mechanics come to life, and just like animusic 3... a desperate drive for perfection killed marble machine x

honestly i think you should react to both dvds in full, it hits different when you view them in order. also in 2015 during the production of animusic 3, wayne lytle (the producer and musician behind animusic) released an instrumental electronic rock album (audio only) that is super unique and i could not recommend it more, its called the Sound of 12

I'm a bit late, but yes the machine was made by Martin(the guy playing it). He was working on a second version of it, which you could watch videos on, but he has taken a break to reassess and come back with a fresh perspective.
