An oasis given what large parts of the UK have become. I don't think most Guerns realise this.
Happy times. Staying with my grans best friend up hautville swimming and walking good bus service then.every morning down to the states dairy for a milk shake 2 ladies in white smocks. Then over to herm to swim at shell beach.and condor queen over to st malo those were the days

A young widow, my grandmother came to the US from Guernsey in 1920 to be with some family that had already come across. She returned once in 1962....this is what she must've have seen. I heard so many wonderful stories of this place as a child. I think she missed it very much, she always referred to it as "home".

Hi I have a collection of old cine film of the channel islands theres Guernsey and Sark in 1970s I believe and other stuff, ive never watched it as I bought with other stuff there is a Hanimex Dual Eight 904 also. if interested???
