GUERNSEY - A Hidden Gem In The British Isles Less Than an Hour From the UK…

Situated on the east coast of Guernsey with views out to neighbouring islands, Herm and Sark, St Peter Port is a charming town with cobbled streets blending history with excellent restaurants and local shops. Known colloquially as ‘Town’, St Peter Port is the island-hopping centre of the Bailiwick and home to many eateries and hotels, as well as museums, seasonal markets, libraries and the tourist information centre; perfect for getting a taste of island life.

If Ross could be in charge of Tourism across the UK and surrounding Islands, businesses would boom everywhere. Instead 'fatcats' get paid a bundle for doing zilch as usual ... Well done Ross for everything you do, without you many of us wouldn't know diddly about Guernsey, you're much appreciated 🙌🙌🙌👌 🙏

To Lucy Mercer. Good luck to you - hope you keep calm and collected, and there some nicer bits on the horizon! I can understand because I had serious health problems - COLLAPSING - but now I'm on medicine for it, I can feel I'm "back in business!" God Bless!

3500 people on the cruise ship. It looked huge. Lots of American and Japanese tourists in town.

That was a nice walk Ross thank you. Good to see the town so busy even if only for a day. No cruise ships arriving when we lived there back in the 40s 50s 60s. Then the town was just as crowded but by locals!! Those days are gone.

Only 24 °C, you’re lucky ! More than 30 in France in June… I prefer coming in winter or at the beginning of the spring, cheaper, not crowded.

Minute 7 ff - "they may go back to the ship to have lunch" 🤔🤔says all... Cruise ship visitors are not worth the effort - apart from the very few who might like the island and return by themselves.
