Totally different styles with these two teams. Guardians have a very good young team & can be trouble in the post season if their starting pitching gives them enough. I like our Braves but it is cool to see a team like Cleveland in the regular season.

would be cool to get rid of the leagues in the postseason and just stack up the teams by record and seed them in a tourney regardless of "league" which imo doesn't really mean anything

Notes From the Game: + A Pretty Good Outing from Bryce Elder! 5 1/3 Innings of 2-Run, 4-Hit Ball, Walking 4 and Striking Out 2. He gets a No-Decision, but through his First 2 Starts, He's 1-0 with an ERA of 1.50. Not too shabby! + The Rest of the Bullpen kept things in line! Bummer, Matzek, Iglesias, and Minter combined to FINISH the final 4 2/3 Innings, Allowing Just 1 Run on 6 Hits, Walking Nobody and Striking Out 3! A.J. Minter gets his 5th Win of the Season, Pitching a Scoreless 10th while allowing just 1 Hit! ROTATION TOTAL: 10 Innings, 3 Runs, 10 Hits, 4 Walks, 5 Strike Outs, NO Home Runs Allowed! It took some time for the Offense to get going, but they got running when it mattered! + Chadwick Tromp got the scoring started! 1-3 with an RBI Single in the 1st! Tromp stands in with a .269 Average and .671 OPS! + The OZ-MAN did good work today! 2-4 with a Single, Double, and an RBI! Ozzie holds firm with a .329 Average with a .906 OPS! + OLSON WITH THE CRITICAL HIT! 1-4 with a BAT-SHATTERING, GAME-TYING RBI SINGLE IN THE 8TH! Olson Clings to a .212 Average with an OPS of .723! + AUSTIN 3:16 WITH THE DECISIVE STUNNER! 2-4 with Two Singles, Including the GAME-WINNER IN THE 10TH! Riley Steps Up to a .234 Average with a .694 OPS! + OTHER NOTABLES: Jarred Kelenic and Travis d'Arnaud were the other Braves to Notch 1 Hit, While Riley and Harris each earned One Walk. Ozuna and Arcia Both went 0-4 Today. + WHAT A SERIES. The Guardians gave us everything we could handle, and even grinded out a Win against us in Game 2. But the Willpower of this Braves Team, combined with Timely Hitting and Pitching, LED US TO VICTORY. A NEEDED SERIES WIN FOR THE BRAVOS TO CLOSE THE HOMESTAND! We now travel Westward to Hostile Territory. Seattle First, then L.A.... Here we go! + CLEVELAND GUARDIANS FANS, DO NOT LOSE HEART. Your Pitching gave this offense EVERYTHING they could handle. Your offense Grinded down our Pitching when it mattered, and the Defense was serviceable, even if costly mistakes were made. THE PIECES ARE THERE to be a Postseason Team... And I'm confident in Former Brave STEPHEN VOGT's ability as a Manager So Far.... It just has to come together. Keep Fighting, Guardians! WHAT'S NEXT? The Guardians will Travel Southwest to Visit Minute Maid Park, Home to the Houston Astros. Houston has not Announced their Starter, However the Guardians Have: Carlos Carrasco will take the call, Who's Off to a BUMPY start in 2024, going 1-2 with an ERA of 4.42. He's coming off a ROUGH outing against the Red Sox, where he allowed 5 Runs on 9 Hits over just 5 Innings of Work. Can the Guardians Shake off the Series Loss and get back on track against the Astros? Or are the Astros about to get hot at the right time? We will find out Tuesday Night at 8:10 P.M. EDT / 7:10 P.M. CDT on Space City Home Network (Astros) and Bally Sports Great Lakes (Guardians)! A CHALLENGING ROAD TRIP BEGINS TOMORROW. The Seattle Mariners... A Team with ALL the Potential to be a DANGEROUS POSTSEASON FOE. Last Year was an Unfortunate One, but they still have the pieces to compete for the AL West. SUPERB Pitching, SOLID Hitting and Fielding... And a Coaching Staff COMITTED to winning. It'll be difficult... But this is what we welcome! It's the Seattle Mariners... AND YOUR ATLANTA BRAVES! ROUND 1 OF 3 will take place Monday Night under the evening skies of T-Mobile Park. Bryce Miller will get the Call for Seattle, Who is having a pretty good April so far, but is coming off a Tough Loss to Texas, where he allowed 2 Runs on 4 Hits, Walking 4 and Striking Out 5 in just 4 Innings. Meanwhile, MAX FRIED will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, who is starting to look like himself in his past 3 Starts. He's coming off a Complete Game, 3-Hit SHUTDOWN of the Marlins, which dropped his ERA almost an Entire 3 Points! Can FRIED and the Braves start the Road Trip and Series with a Crucial Win in Hostile Territory? Or will Miller and the Mariners have something brewing for the Tomahawk Chop? We Will Find Out at 9:40 P.M. EDT / 6:40 P.M. EDT on ROOT SPORTS NORTHWEST (Mariners) and Bally Sports South (Braves)! SoundFX09, Signing Out!

At last, as always the highlights took far more than long enough to download, as for the game the Braves had me frustrated all the way up to the 8th inning when they came back and tied it up, Byrce Elder pitched just well enough to keep his team in the game, Riley delivered the game winning walk-off hit in the bottom 10th, hopefully he's snapping out of his slump as he have been hitting the ball hard before that big hit, now if only Acuna and Olson will come around, anyway a very successful homestand of 7-2 and now off to the west coast, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!

What a game!! Austin is the hero, walk off hit in the 10th. The fight in this team was there today, late game magic once again. Elder was solid, kept us in it the entire time. Bullpen also was great, matzek, iglesias, and minter all outstanding. And the comeback in the 8th to tie it was electric. Riley of course the hero and he deserved it, he was getting unlucky but got one to go his way there. Overall it leads to the series win which is always good. Great win great walk off. Now a little west coast trip starting in seattle. Let’s go braves #ForTheA

Bad relief pitching by RP Gaddis and his awful throwing error not to mention, uncharacteristic base running in the 10th plus... ineffective pitching by usual, reliable Closer Emmanuel Clase. Ronald is currently slumping and still has over a 110 OPS Plus, is second in the league in runs scored, and has a near 400 on base percentage and is second in steals. That's him slumping. His slump is The best numbers the average player would ever get for all of Major League baseball. Just wait till he breaks out of it. Fun fact. His production this month is actually better than mookie's was in the last month of baseball last year when Ronald secured the MVP and Mookie lost it. We're not even out of April yet, my brother in Christ

I was at the game and during one of the guardian’s fielding I screamed right before the pitch and I could tell he heard me by the way he looked at me and how bad the pitch was 😂
