    I agree. The most exiting player in Baseball no question. His swing is a work of Art. Thing nobody mentions is that when you try and steal that much you could get injured anytime. Jam a finger or thumb, sprain your wrist, strain a hamstring, pull a groin. Fortunately, he has been healthy so far.

    MLB stolen bases are a Joke in 2023. MLB made the Bases bigger, added a 2 limit step off for pitchers & added a time clock. Anyone cheering on these stolen base numbers & not acknowledging how much easier MLB made it is dishonest.

    Great job capturing all the stolen bases of Ronald Acuña Jr. The best player in the major leagues today and authentic MVP, founding his own 40-70 club, pride of Venezuela and all of Latin America, this is very exciting and historic.

    I think the biggest and most exciting Acuña stat by far is the possibility of a 150 R season. It's been done ONCE in 83 years!!!

    @@skinnie2838 True, i agree. Where are the other players with 40+ hr (most of them with 100+ mph exit velocity and 400+ ft) and 70+ steals now that is that easy then? Plus 100+ RBIs and 100+ R, also 330+ avg. Oh, almost forgot the 1000+ ops too. Totally not impressive.

    Haters want to say he only got the stolen bases because of the new base size. If you watch the video 95% of those throws wouldn’t have gotten him even if the bag was the size of a dime. Yah he’s that good.

    you can knock on the bases now being bigger than cardi b's butt all you want, but the fact is that Acuna got on base enough times to go for 70 steals to begin with + he misses opportunities because of his 40+ HRs.

    I was at the game for 69 and 70. We were in the 9th and I was praying for extras so I had the chance to see 70 and when it happened it was insane.

    Keep in mind that Rickey Henderson stole 130 bases in 1982. Acuna Jr. got just over half that, so don't get so excited about his 70 bases. That is why Rickey Henderson is in a class all by himself.

    You are not that smart. The whole point is that Acuna has speed and power. Henderson never hit over 28 or 29 HRs in a year. The 40-40 club had 4 members before Acuna. He joined it and the added 30 more stolen bases.

    The greatest base stealer ever in Ricky Henderson never had more than 28 home runs and never hit for near Acunas average for a season. Acuna is having the best power/speed season in MLB history and you simply can't deal with it.
