I see a lot of ppl talking about him blowing out his arm because of throwing such high heat. But hes not a pure heat pitcher. He HAS that heat and uses it, but most of his pitches he throws are offspeed. He does that because with such a fast fastball, they have to either sit and wait on the fastball or hope its the right offspeed pitch you think hes going to throw. If he throws the opposite, goodluck adjusting to it because you wont.

The teams don’t have a lot of data on him yet. He will be good but eventually film study will allow hitters to learn his patterns and giveaways

I really wish MLB managers would let pitchers pitch complete games. It’s taken one of the most exciting parts of the game away. If Nolan Ryan could handle 300 innings a season, and pitch into his 40’s, these pitchers can handle at least 8. Especially with the training and diet they get these days.

Man this kid reminds me of Roge4r Clemens, but he is so unique in the way his arm doesn't give away his pitches at all. It almost looks like a slider sometime when he throws that sinker, but he holds in a way ive never seen.. Kids Special. When he is in that zone, he is unhittable at only 22 thats crazy

It hurts my arm just watching him throw so fast constantly on this pitch clock.

He's great, but I'm concerned that his pitching style is putting strain on his elbow.💪
