Oh...and...the homeplate ump was BEYOND awful.

I absolutely have no confidence in Diaz coming in and wrapping up the game and it showed tonight. Definitely would rather have a different closer

Another day, another Alexis Diaz blown save. I am so tired of watching him. This dude’s arm slot and mechanics are so inconsistent it’s absurd. He’s good when he’s on, but it’s a surprise to all because he doesn’t even know where the ball is going. I try to sympathize with him and give him the benefit of the doubt, but 95 to the ribs followed by 2 straight walks on 10 pitches, is flat out unacceptable. Unfortunately, this isn’t new. He either needs to get his mechanics in check or needs to better prep himself mentally. I think I speak for all of Cincinnati when I say that Diaz is in need of a reality check, in whatever way that may be. Make somebody else the closer at this point. The Reds are re-entering Raisel Iglesias territory.

That was impressively bad.

I'm yet to be a Montgomery fan. He was on a winning World Series team last season (against us!!) but it SURE doesn't look like it. But we made it happen...LET'S GOOOOOOOO, D-BACKS!!! 🐍⚾

@@akuai4408 I'd say they also got cheated on Candelario's check swing against Ginkel (it looked almost exactly like Joc's swing that they said he couldn't hold up), and that pitch caught part of the plate anyways but was called a ball

Was at the game. This game was so exciting. Seeing Lourdes get hit got me heated. Joc obviously got with the Ump’s wife 😂
