    Just to clear a couple things up, I do somewhat agree with the comments saying that "oh you started it" etc. I probably shouldn't have "laughed" but I was kind of distracted with my friends, I had the train that we went there to see on my mind as well as i was quite excited. In my opinion, me and the "grumpy" man were both in the wrong, I shouldn't have laughed, he shouldn't have come over and had a go at us.

    He didn’t apologise, accept responsibility, tell us he learnt ‘the life lesson’ and said he wont do it again. None of that. Wanna know what the pinned comment was? Excuses excuses excuses. And even more excuses. He literally just doubled down on playing the victim and started telling everyone about it (because of course all he cares about is getting attention, and not the fact that he just potentially spoiled the mans day and risked his own life).

    Although rude, I think the man is justified, not only was he laughed at but it was also on camera, I think he suspected it would end up on KZread and wasn't very pleased about that. I think not blurring his face is a bit disrespectful. I'd heed his advice, a train station isn't just for trainspotters, its full of people commuting or working there. I'd probably blur his face because of the rule: If you put something on the internet about somebody, they will most likely see it. I wouldn't ever think to laugh, in fact, I'd probablty feel bad, I've seen it happen a few times and it's always unfortunate. My best advice would be to take the video down or blur his face because all this is doing is attracting negative attention to your channel and nobody wants that.

    When people miss their trains or even flights, it's their own faults. Check the schedule of the trains or buses and plan accordingly. Leave your house early and if you live in a city where there is always lots of traffic, leave extra early. It's always better to arrive where you need to be too early and be late. Throughout my life of travelling, I rarely missed trains or flights, I almost never missed appointments, interviews, meetings or anything important. The rare time that I've been late was because of something unexpected such as a strike/protects, traffic accidents or train technical malfunctions but it rarely happens so most of the time, when I see people running like mad to catch their trains, buses or flights, wether they make it on or not, it's safe to assume it's their fault.

  • @deadaccount2048

    @deadaccount2048

    9 ай бұрын

    Yes it’s his fault for missing it. Just because you missed something by about a minute doesn’t justify having stupid kids shout and laugh in your face, laugh at you and then post it to KZread without your permission, very well showing your face for thousands of views. No. Grow tf up because one day you might end up in a hospital bed with bruises, or potentially won’t even wake up. If you meet the wrong people and/or act like this when your older: you won’t have Dad to protect you. Youll be on the tracks in seconds or if you’re lucky leave with a couple punches. You don’t know how sober or sympathetic the man is. And even if he couldn’t hurt you it’s still wrong to humiliate someone like that, FROM EXPERIENCE.

It really shows your level of maturity and situational awareness. But even then I do still agree that the man clearly overreacted. “HAHAH U MISSED IT” may seem harmless, until youve just missed a job interview, your train home or a meeting. Maybe an appointment or a gathering with friends or family. Who knows! He damn well could’ve has a shit day already, and may be dealing with personal issues (maybe his dog died or he just lost his job). And you don’t know what condition he is in. Is he sober? Did he just come from the pub half drunk? Did he just smoke crack in an alley? Is he psychotic? God knows. And he is being put in an extremely vulnerable position: He is being recorded on cameras by some dumb, spoiled kids bullying him. If he doesn’t do anything he may feel it looks like hes scared to come up to ya or didn’t teach you an important lesson (that could save your life). He may be worrying about the consequences hes gonna have to face now fir being late, or having is face plastered across social media. So, with all of that in mind, how harmless was “HAHAH U MISSED IT!!”? Was it a good idea, a smart idea, a safe idea? Was it mature, or necessary?

    From what I can see, there was absolutely no reason for you to laugh at a passerby missing their train. You can never know how important a simple thing like catching a train might be to someone. I can guarantee that when you're a bit older you'll realise you were wrong to do this. You apologised, but only because he came over to confront you, and you don't seem very sorry in your pinned comment. I understand it might seem like an overreaction by your man, but that doesn't justify being obnoxious to people. Now, that being said, he absolutely should not have acted the way he did. A simple ticking off explaining that you shouldn't be rude to other people would have been the most appropriate response, not what he did. Both of you are in the wrong here and hopefully you'll both learn from it.

It's wise to learn not to say out loud whatever you're thinking. That behaviour can land you in much bigger trouble than you got into here. This guy was actually quite restrained. You did offer an apology immediately, which is to your credit. But posting this video online with snide captions really isn't helpful. The guy was right, this is a life lesson, and one I recommend you think about and try to learn from, before you get into much bigger trouble than you can handle. I speak from experience.
