I am sure someone has picked up that your comment about Kings Cross being LMS is completely wrong. But just in case they haven't, Euston was LMS and Red, Francis. Kings Cross was LNER and Green or Blue.

Pre nationalisation, Kings Cross was/is LNER, not LMS. So not the right livery for the terminus either. A great western loco, in LMS livery, at an LNER station. If only they’d used Southern Rolling stock then all the big four would have been represented!

I was expecting him to tear the Wallace and Gromit clip to shreds based on what he said about realism in the Thomas and Harry Potter clips.

As a Thomas the Tank Engine found this just hurts my brain no henry was not left in the tunnel to rust away and die, he was let out in the next bloody episode. It always annoys me that people always claim that this is how it ends and he was left to rust there and die, no he wasn't he was let out in the next episode god dammit.

On that Thomas episode, why would Henry be punished, I thought his driver and fireman would be the ones recieving disciplinary action for refusing to work as they're the ones operating him.

JK Rowling confused Euston and Kings Cross when she wrote the Harry Potter books. Maybe that's when she gave the Hogwarts Express the LMS livery

Thomas the Tank engine, or the Railway Series, strived for as much realism as possible. And then the tv show kinda ruined that after the early days. Henry is fine, he came out the next episode.

Have you seen the Mickey Mouse cartoon short Mickey To The Rescue, Train tracks? What would you have to say about the train in that one?

The greatest movie locomotive is Class 20188 from Goldeneye, then there is the fake Castle that’s actually a Hall class which should of been mentioned.

I agree that the armoured train from Goldeneye is awesome, alongside the train sequence from Octopussy. I assume by Castle that’s really a Hall you’re referring to Olton Hall as the Hogwarts Express.

What about Schindler's List? There are a lot of trains in that.

Now thats a disservice. You cannot watch that episode of TTTE without watching the next one too! They're like Part 1 and Part 2, Francis was right, it doesn't end there! And, I'm sorry, but you're meant to know your stuff about railways. The LMS was Euston and St. Pancras, King's Cross was LNER!

supposedly the sorting hat wanted to put the Hogwarts Express into Slytherin but its impassioned wish to not be had the hat place him in Gryffindor.

LMS would of been Euston via Crewe (West Coast) and LNER (East Coast) Kings Cross to Edinburgh.

it wouldn't have been wheel flats in "Thomas", you only get them from "locking" the wheels & sliding. a spinning wheel will create "rail-burn".
