    you made it really easy, very impressed! I have tried a few times, but every time the leaves turn yellow or are eaten by bugs I guess, doesn't grow any further, I am wondering how often do you watering this plant, some people said I might overwater it. thamnks

    Snake beans grow in all tropical countries and not only in Asian countries. I also know this type of bean from Suriname in South America. My grandparents from both sides planted different vegetables on their land (plantations), not only for their own use but also for sale.

    Sulaiha Banu I used medium size of containers. The plants started to developed flowers after one month and soon become beans. I got beans continuesly almost every day for one month. Until the bean grow smaller then I cut the plants off and put them in compost bin.

    It’s neat seeing how they germinate, but why go through all that when you can just stick them in the soil and be done?

  • @Nimbleful

    @Nimbleful

    2 жыл бұрын

    if you've got old seeds and are not sure if they'll germinate or not, it can be helpful to pre-germinate them. That way you can tell within 3 days if the bean's going to grow, whereas if it's in the soil it'll be a week or more before it pops out the soil - longer to wait to see if it's viable.
