Growing Radish from bed prep, to planting seeds, and harvest
We started in early Spring by sowing the seeds directly in ground when soil has been thawed.
Applied one inch layer of compost before planting
Set seeds 1 inch apart, 1/4 inch deep and lightly cover with soil.
Using a makeshift hoop cover, we cover the bed. This protects the seedling from frost
Watering consistently will guarantee bulb formation
When the weather gets too hot, vent out the cover or remove it. You can also switch to netting at this point to keep your plants protected from pests
Radish will be ready to harvest within 30-40 days

Love that! Thank you for your kind words😊💚
It's all in the preparation. The initial labour makes gardening so much easier and more productive. Spring is a beautiful time.❤

I used to rush through seed starting and trying to get everything planted right away. I agree with you, it's all in the initial labour and preparation. Taking time to grow healthy seedlings and getting the soil prep before planting can really make a difference.
I just found your channel a few days ago as and it has quickly become my favorite.
I have to give props. My garden has been bare minimum fruits so far

That's a very cold temperature still. You can try using hoop tunnels to protect your plants. The harvest from these videos I planted when the temps are around that range. Cool crops like radish, spinach, lettuce, and most brassicas benefit from cooler weather.
When it comes time to replace the wood beds, would you consider the coated metal ones?

I recently installed a metal coated beds in our greenhouse and I would definitely consider making that change when it comes time to replace the wood beds. However, I'll likely end up modifying it to add a wooden structure/cover😅
Dude! There is too much for small space, I wish we had drone footage of your yard showing how you spaced it.
What variety of radishes were those? Thanks for all the vids
