@LETSGROWGARDENDESIGN Update: My Hoya Curtisii arrived. It's a lil 5 node cutting and it's recovering from being stuck at the post office but it's looking good.

Hi. I love your hoya. I have a strand that was gifted to me and roots are forming. I've had her since June and nothing really happening. Any suggestions. I have her in a plastic pot with a cover pot and soil and under a grow light. Any ideas to get her to move it along. Ty. New subscriber.

Hi there! Patience is key. Sometimes it takes a little while for new Curtisii's to fully root in, but then she tends to pick up speed growing.😀🪴

I just also watched your Hoya Kerrii vid. Why is your potting mix a little different between the 2 Hoyas? I was planning on using your kerrii potting mix for all my Hoyas

Hi there! yes, we have found that slightly changing some of the soil profile for the Kerri works well for that species. She likes a soil mix with lots and lots of air flow ; which the better gro orchid mix and perlite additives will help achieve) we found that mix helps ours grow better. Now for the Aloha, hoya, she tends to like a little denser soil, so we pull out perlite additive and add just a tad of leca to help with air flow. But... If you don't have any leca pebbles available, you can substitute it with perlite, this is ok too we just like using leca for our alhoha she digs it.. Hope this is helpful to you. 😀🪴
