Sweet feast brassica has been in the ground 4 weeks and is growing like crazy, Fall forage blend was planted last week. When I bought my farm a few years ago I was told that the land could only grow rocks(which it does!) but with your seed and a lot of work I have some nice food plots. Now the neighbors talk about how many deer they see at my place! Thanks for the great seed and the information!

Now you need HD screen, so neighbors can't see em. Keeps poachers' eyes off your hard work.

Your seed is fantastic! My brassicas are up and looking great! My food plot screen is over 8ft tall already! Great advice also! Thank you!

Short season brassica + radish + chicory, + red clover with light rye went in last Saturday. Hopefully chicory and red clover will be drought tolerate by June next year.

If adding UREA nitrogen to increase plant production during its growing season, but as UREA can lower the soil ph, how quickly does the UREA actually lower soil ph?

Hey john thanks for all your help this year! Really excited to see how well everything turns out. I’m a bit north of you and right when I finished my plots we went 14 straight days without a drop of rain. Fortunately we got about a quarter inch yesterday and more on the way next few days. Will that seed and fertilizer be ok in the ground but no rain for 2 weeks? Looks like you got dumped on yesterday. Thanks again for all your help!

I have a small plot of white clover (thin and short). With no rain for the next 14ish days and high humidity, would it be safe to plant winter rye and spray liquid fertilizer?

With no rain I would make sure I bury that seed.

Thanks for the great videos! I planted half of my food plots in your fall forage blend and I got rain this evening before I could spray gly. Do you think I’ll be okay to spray gly over the plot tomorrow? I planted with a drill.

We have 13 acres of beans planted and 2 acres of food plots. The farmer can't combine the beans because the deer keep them ankle high all summer and fall. Is there a cheap nurse crop I could plant to help the beans grow that won't interfere with the combine?

Can you elaborate on what you said about food plots being too small for what you want to plant? I think a lot of us may have 1/4 plots, so maybe that could be a reference point.

Sure In many areas (like non ag , big woods) a 1/4 acre brassica plot can get wiped out in a week. I would look at clover or fall forage and red or crimson clover instead. 1 acre of beans can be mowed down quickly. I would look at our 3 strip plot instead (see last weeks video)
