Even if it’s not a “luxury restaurant” doesn’t mean it has an explanation to kill you 😐 braum’s isn’t a luxury restaurant but it has WAY healthier food like their milkshakes they make their own ice cream from their own cows and they make their own fresh beef for the burgers AND if you want fresh fruit, veggies, milk and I think meat you can go to their fresh market they don’t even use plastic bags they use paper bags.. don’t you think McDonald’s could at least TRY not to kill their customers with a heart attack and ruin people’s lives for a few bucks?

I work at McDonald’s 1) shakes are made with ice cream it’s the same machine as the ice cream machine 😐 2) McCafé machine is cleaned everyday 2 twice or other wise it’s locked and we can’t server no more 3) the trays in the ice cream machine is not from the ice cream machine it’s the oil catcher for the grill... 4) yeah the play place is gonna be dirty watch ur kids... but we clean it out every night before we close 5) it’s fast food not healthy food 😂 what do ya expect 6) it’s not a 5 start restaurant what do you expect for people getting payed 7.25 and getting to respect

For someone who’s worked in the food industry for a long time, rules are super strict and let me tell you, just because one place’s hygiene is poor doesn’t mean all the others are the same. They’ll always be serious repercussions for anyone neglecting food safety. So anyone responsible not keeping equipment clean will most likely get in serious trouble in addition to the restaurant.

I worked at McDonald's and tried to keep it as clean as I could. Ours were not nearly as bad. Also the fries, hash browns, etc. Were fried in vegetable oil with no trace of beef. I'm still a vegetarian (yes I worked at McDs while being a vegetarian) and know that the fries there are meat-free.

Our mccafe machines are cleaned every day several times a day at the McDonalds I work at. I always make sure everything is clean because I wouldn't want to eat at a dirty restaurant

Up until a week ago, I was a Kitchen Department Manager at a McDonald’s for quite a few years. That being said, many things in this video are wrong but especially the comment about the French fry oil having beef flavor and citric acid added to the oil for flavor; that’s just not true. There are separate fryer vats for each product (for example, a few for fries only, one for fish only, and a few for all the chicken products only) and these do not get mixed. Meaning we don’t cook fries in the vat for chicken products, and we don’t cook chicken in the vat for fish. However, all of the fryer vats are filled with pure Vegetable Oil. No beef flavoring or citric acid added. So for vegetarians and people unable to each beef, no need to worry!And the frys are salted with pure table salt; none of the other ingredients that were mentioned.

Worked in McCafe for years, if every restaurant follows the correct procedures the coffee machines are cleaned at least 2 times a day.

I work at McDonalds and I wanted to say that a huge part of these news stories are covering stores that don’t follow protocol and ignoring the fact that a majority of stores do follow protocol, mine included. We have a rigorous cleaning schedule for our floors and counters. Once a month (or twice depending on circumstances) we do a deep clean of all our machines, including the ice cream machine and McCafé machines. We even have days where we don’t sell ice cream products because we spend majority of the work day cleaning it. Parts of the McCafé machines clean themselves, such as the blenders and even inside the machines. But we still clean inside them as often as we can. One of the many chores we do before closing the store is we take any removable parts of machines out and we scrub them and then put them back. So trays that catch falling ice cream and McFlurry droppings, holders that hold your cups in place while ice cream or orange juice is being poured, small tube mechs that pour out the OJ, grated trays that are in the McCafé machines, all of the teapots, all of the spoons we use for mixing drinks, parts of the coffee machine, literally ANYTHING we can remove, we clean. Floors are washed with buckets of soapy water and a scrub brush, then we squeegee the excess water into drains that are underneath the machines. Counters and machine fronts are polished and wiped down, fry stations are removed and scrubbed down, and we regularly wipe counters as the work day proceeds. So idk. I think McDonald’s gets a bad rap, but it’s probably bc it’s the largest fast food chain

I’m an X McD, grossest thing I see is the Filet O Fish, they leave the fish patty on the heater for quite a while and just use it if customer order a fish. If you want the best alway order fresh on everything, I don’t trust food they leave on the heater

Honestly, I grew up eating at McDonalds and loving going there. I’ve also researched a lot, and their nuggets IS chicken, the fries IS potatoes and the meat is... MEAT! Relax, of course it contains fat and calories; it’s a fast food place. What did you expect. If you want healthy food, go eat a salad at home.😒

some people that makes videos like this. just don't have commonsense. and food bars I seen a few people making videos about them and say "they are not 100% candy because fat and calories" well no shit they are snacks to bite on when you wake up or before heading to school or work. and the whole candycorn thing. those people don't realize that candy haven't been the same for years and it's optional to get the classical or original version. if you don't want to eat meat eat plant if you don't want to eat plant eat meat if you want both go for it. again commonsense people use it.

All the raving about salt and all I can think is “don’t hate on salt for being the master preserver and anti spoilage king”... just remember: without salt, YOU wouldn’t be able to function at all. I do agree that in processed foods, there’s usually more than what’s needed for basic preservation which is why so many are opting to just cook at home. But still, salt is important!

So recently my local McDonald’s got renovated and there used to be a play place and once they renovated it they removed. And the sign for the play place and still there and they even renovated the sign for the play place

"After the breast meat is removed from the bone, it's sent through a grinder with seasoning and chicken skin. They're battered twice, parfried, frozen and shipped off to stores to finish cooking them." So where is the "gross" or "cringeworthy" part in this? How do you EXPECT them to make a chicken nugget that's any better than that description?? This channel is so anti-mcdonalds it might as well change its' name to 'We hate mcdonalds.'

the BONE is sent to the grinder and the meat and bone partially separated, the "paste" you get from this process it turned into "nuggets". The pink slime is mixed with fillers, bonding agents and other cancer causing crap. It's fucking nasty.

honestly i got food poisoning from the mayo in a mcchiken when i was very young. any fast food breakfasts do me worse than a week of taco bell. i hadn't actively seeked out mcdonalds for myself for about half my life. must have been 6 or 7 when i got sick hadn't ate nothing but fries from there since. just went and got a burger from there last week. im 21 now

I don't think I need to know anything extra to be dissuaded from eating at McDonald's. Whenever I'm in one I feel some combination of the "4 Worries": 1. Worry for my mortality - I am very cognizant of the life-shortening effects of the so-called food they peddle that only a desperate or suicidal madman would eat. 2. Worry for my health - I am thinking about all the diseases I would contract if I came into contact with any of the fluids, films, and oils that coat the different surfaces made of unkown and likely carcinogenic plastic substances. 3. Worry for my safety - I mind my own business and try not to inconvenience the angry looking people that work and dine there. 4. Worry for the future - I think of how sad everyone in McDonald's looks and I wonder how it's at all possible that humanity has been able to continue for this long with so little motivation.
