Point of the matter is EA and Konami is money hungry, Ubisoft is overly ambitious, Capcom is a good company has the share holders pointing a gun to their heads, but Activision is the worst of them all... lazy corner cutters who refuse to actually debug their games and force devs to release a game a year even if it requires hiring cheap labour in 3rd world counties. A.K.A all they care about is getting a product released

Good thing Thrall and Grom had the sense of style to shave before going up against Mannoroth. No threat of eternal demonic subjugation is more important than looking exactly like they did 18 years ago. Mannoroth too sold his soul all over again to get something that almost resembles a chin. Kudos.

Yeah, always found it weird how the characters looked a bit different in their cinematics compared to the in-game design. I think it's got to do with processing power, since it would've been in main focus of the viewer (on their face), so they had to make it look good and it would've meant extra time for rendering. Just tricks to cut down the deadline.

The cutscene is exactly the same was it was 18 years ago, with the exception of some voice acting alteration, like Thrall's scream after Grom died, while the gameplay graphics were updated to mirror how Thrall and Grom looks according to World of Warcraft. Blizz screwed up Reforged.

Putting aside all the sh*t happening around Warcraft 3: Reforged, but this was Blizzard's storytelling at its prime.

@@asortiksincap8301 they didnt make this for 18yrs. They made this around 2018 with a decent budget and lost all of it across 2019 due to budget cuts and we got what they basically had in 2018, just the improved models

I think the models were created first, when they still planned to make it into a good game Then they decided that they won't get enought money from it and decided to make it an as cheap as possible way

Wow how is it the classic version of inferno scene manage to be more intense? Like seriously in classic version there were like 10 inferno raining down. It was awesome and scary as a player. How do you fuck that up so hard?

Only thing i was looking forward to this game is for improved cinematics and they just used the ones from 2002 wow blizzard. I mean i love them so much and they look great for their time but you can't use old audio and cinematics and just update models and call this reforged i am so disappointed.

I was expecting them to update Grom's features to match them from WoD. Obviously all they changed was Thrall's roar prior to tossing the Doomhammer. And that thing looked so huge in the remastered game, bigger than I've ever seen it except in the movie.

The biggest thing I noticed after playing through the Orc Campaign in Reforged is that they changed Thrall’s bellow at the end of the cinematic.

This was legit better pre-reforge.

18 years ago, i cried when Grommash died next to Thrall with those last words. Today, I still cried. Dam...

it is like you are disappointed at your child but you love them no matter what this was my childhood

for such a hyped up character, manaroths dies so easily everytime he shows up.

It's weird going from the in game graphics to the old cut scene. The old designs and stilted animations stand out a lot

For some reason they changed Thrall's wailing roar at the end and now it sounds like he's having his worst constipation

This really makes me question Thralls leadership in giving the easily corruptible guy's hotheaded son the reins as warchief.

I watched this and compared it to the one from 2003 and my suspicions ( i butchered that word ) seem to be true. The scream was so sad that it stickwith me back when i was a kid so i noticed it the first time i heard the reforged one

Thrall uses ultimate but Mannoroth got Linken's

Refored:Can I copy your home work? Original: sure just change some words so that I'll look different. Reforged:nah lemmie just get yours //submitted the original's work.

I always knew they fought Mannoroth for cinematic lightness in between two. Because at that point they COULD pick up a mini army, add Jaina and Cairne to kick the living shit out of Mannoroth but hey, that'll be too many in the cinematic party.

Thrall had a bread in gameplay and in the cinematic he had no beard excellent work Blizzard

Yes, audio quality and also normalization is all over the place, music is way too loud sometimes compared to the voice

I mean, come on... Bugs and glitches during gameplay is a little bit more dignified as it's something you could miss from testing phase (with limitless possibility on what to do in it) but cutscene?? Really???

RIP Grommash. The real Hellscream!

I love the wow lore , it’s just too perfect . Every race every hero has a purpose , a flaw let alone are relatable.

OH MY GOD THE OBVIOUS INSERTION OF "HELLSCREAM" at 7:28 on top of the original voice-over.

You know it's good writing when you realize Mannoroth's futile statement was: "within your heart, you know, we are one and the same." And Grom just fucking murders him. So good.

KingTater That wasn’t my intention, orcs and Tauren are not men. Im only saying Jaina didn’t know what choice of words to use which only enhances her character and the scene although I’m sure they both took the word as a complement.

Grom: a complete asshole for most of his life that lead his people to damnation and savagery, even before drinking the blood the first time, and does it again. Hell, it probably even tasted the same. Does one good thing in his life, that gets him killed. Legendary Hero.

Ever wondered why we see orcs turning red in WarCraft III, only to see then turn dark gray with the Fel glowing within them in WoW: WoD? And this is them drinking the same creature's blood.

Thrall's and Jaina's exchange at the start of Orc08 is so damn humane. And so typical of two predujiced people coming to talks with one another. I love old Blizzard. They had heart.
