Not only that but the audio of the cinematics are worse. Compare the battle cries of Thrall and Grom in the final cinematic to those from the original. The ones here are pure garbage.

Man, the image of Hellscream's silhouette as the demon burns is so iconic. I was happy with how they referenced it in WoD trailer, where he gets saved by Garrosh.

2:30 omg. Thrall's wolf's legs. Left-Right, like it's bipedal. And the kodo too. The horror. And also Mannoroth!

Damn, this game is still so old, yet remains as one of my favorites of all time. These cut scenes where among the greatest! It still makes me sad that amazing characters such as Cairne die by other future characters in the game. This will always be GOAT!

do the orcs even have any sort of formal leadership now? Thrall is the closest thing to a leader but at best he's a speaker for the orcs in the council.

I want a movie of Thrall. He has a good story line, from being raised by humans, a slave, earning freedom and having to claim the doomhammer and claiming his vengeance

Previously....on AVATAR! Er...Warcraft. Thrall seeks to master all 4 elements and become the SHAMAN, to then fight the Demon Lord! And restore balance to the 4 factions.

I often put my youtube favorites on random, so occasionally the movie Nogg-Aholic comes up. Always a nice surprise. And when the fight against Mannoroth cutscene comes up it always gets me.

I notice they redid Thrall's roars. Notice also that Grom's new model is based on his WoW physique, wheras the reused cinematic still shows his WC3 version; skinny, but muscular.

Odd that they retconned Thrall from original being younger with a goatee (and beardless in the cinematic), to being old with a full beard for the new version (to resemble how he does currently look like in WoW?).

Well he is in his late 30s in current warcraft lore. In warcraft 3 if was barely legal to sit on a casting couch.

Honestly, after the Human and Undead campaigns, the Orc and Night Elves look much more well done. Again nowhere near the Stratholme one they showed in 2018, but better. But it's so inconsistent though. I'd love if in the future they patch the scrapped cutscenes in.

They wanted to preserve the same gameplay mechanics, pathing and such. Recreating the exact same behaviour in a modern engine like SC2's would be near impossible.

All the original WC3 models are already in SC2. I know people had attempted to recreate WC3 in SC2, and even tried to make a mod where Starcraft units faces the Warcraft units. I never got that mod to load in my games.

To me they even fucked up the old cinematic. it all fell less epic. there were some minor tone changes here and there from what i notice. thrall outcry actually sounded awkward compared to old cinematic. fuck you blizz.

So many years pass and i stll cry like little baby when is see Heallscream death damn i love Warcraft and i will love it forever , just sick history and animation for that times its masterpiace :)

Always enjoyed seeing scenes of manaroth as a kid.

Given all of the recent events from BFA, sure wish they'd bring Medivh back to help set things right. Azeroth really needs him.

I always love play gnome and human or Night elves. But thrall and gorm story is always heartwarming to me. And I personally always respect thrall

In the old one you can grasp the anger and sadness at the same time. But in the deforged version, Thrall cries like he stepped on to an arrow or something.

Maximilian Schörkhuber it's part of the original Warcraft 3 soundtrack. It plays when Grommash dies. If you look up Grommash theme it will probably come up.

If they did though ,they'd have to dedicate an ENORMOOUS amount of money and labor force to redo those cinematics (and there's like 9 of them?). They probably didn't want to commit so much to some cinematics for a game not everyone would be super into buying. But the cutscenes they showed in 2018 like Stratholme should've been added.

@@Athelarius What irks me is that they change the audio in the orc related campaign. It was Grom..but they replaced it with . They even changed the sounds where thrall was mourning for grom from GROOOOOM to NGGGGAAAHHHHHH. Take 16:23 for an example. That audionwas clearly from HELLSCREAM NEEDS HELP from Cry of the Warsong's intro cutscene.

Ok, this is nitpicking, but I'm more of a fan of Jaina's model in BfA than in the Reforged. In WOW, she's using actual armor for a battlemage, along with her robes While here she has a midrift inviting swords and spears. Come on Blizzard, was it really that hard to add some basic light armor on Jaina's model?

you know how many years it is from WC3 to BFA? in WC3 she is a newly made sorceress, still bright eyed and new to the world. where being one mostly meant researching, and study, not necessarily being put on the front lines as soon as they complete their training. BFA is so many different wars and skirmishes afterwards, especially post theramore bombing. by that time she is battle hardened and jaded tot he world, especially after being betrayed by the horde that she always stood up for.

Dude Jaina back in the original warcraft 3 wore nothing but a bra and a cloak as protection. She was an agent of the Kirin Torr meaning like a spy or emisary meaning no point in wearing armor when she is meant to travel light and go long distances and she was just a junior mage at the time.
