Phyllis, in 1968 while I was in the Air Force, I received orders to go to Mc Chord AFB in Washington state. We had just gotten married and spent our honeymoon traveling to Tacoma, WA. After finding an apartment, since my wife had not received her Spouse I.D. yet I went to the base commissary to buy some groceries. I was in the meat department and had already chosen some things, when a lady walked up to my cart and took the meat I chose out of my cart and placed it in hers. I said "Pardon me that was my meat". She said, "I don't care, I'm Colonel SO and So's wife". I reached in her cart, took the meat and said, "I don't care if you are the General's wife, that is my meat". I'm so glad I didn't have my uniform with my name on.

John Ilko Fantastic story, sir!! ♡ As old as I am, I would've put my tail between my legs and returned to the meat department. I'm going to attempt to remember this when the next opportunity arises for me to be brave, and toss that lifelong doormat off my shoulders! :D Thank you, John!! :D •still wanting to giggle•

I really enjoyed listening to your stories! I have one grocery store memory which I'll never forget. This was about 25 years ago or so. My mom and I had taken my Grandma to the grocery store to do her shopping. When we were in line, there were a couple of people in front of us and my Grandma had a full cart of groceries. Well, all of a sudden, one of my eyes starts tearing and I kept wiping the tears off, but it wouldn't stop. I told my Mom I was going to go wait for them in the car as I could see with one eye (hahaha) that they were going to be there a while. I walked out of the store and saw her car parked in the front of the store and sat down in the backseat. That one eye was still tearing up pretty bad, and so I was trying to do whatever I could to try and stop it to no avail. Anyways, about 15 or 20 minutes goes by and out comes my Mom and Grandma. They walked about 2 or 3 cars over and opened the door and all of a sudden, I had a small panic attack. I looked around the inside of the car I had been sitting in and realized I was in the wrong car!! LOL! I'm so glad I saw them before the owner of the car I had been sitting in saw me! So embarrassing...lol!

Hi Phyllis, I enjoy your videos and knowledge. I'm a 63 year old widow and like to see how you and Mr Bucky converse and work together! I am in chronic pain due to back injury and 3 surgeries on it and one on my neck. So, I have lots of time to watch You Tube and was getting so tired of what was on, and your cooking is interesting. I have always baked since I was 9 years old and lots of country cooking for my 3 children. I lost my oldest son when he was 30, so I can relate to you in many ways. Keep up the good work. I am believer as well and praise God for His soon coming.

Mrs. Stokes, your last mishap in the parking lot hit home for me. While on my way home from my daughter's college graduation in Va. I stopped in Elyria, Oh. to get gas. As I slowly turned into the station I saw a woman driving towards me rather fast and I slowed to allow her to enter the station first. Now there was absolutely no one but the two of us, she proceeds past pump one and two and as I pull to pump 4, she is at my front bumper making gestures with her car that if I did not get out of her way she was going to hit me. I angled around and went to the pump she had just passed, got out and entered the station to find her bad mouthing me to the clerk. I said a few unsaved words to led her know I was not the one but the clerk cut her off and said, "out of all the available pumps in this station why did you have to have that one? Even I could clearly see that this gentleman was in the right!. Well she tossed $40.00 at the clerk and proceeded out to pump her gas. I thanked the clerk for her comment and returned to my car. The lady now is trying to further aggravate me with her now racial slurs then I remembered I had a dash cam. I told her to let it go or I would call the authorities since I had the entire episode recorded. She left the station so fast that she cut off another driver that was entering the station. Yea Dash Cam!!! Keep the positive words of encouragement and great recipes coming!!!!

About 25 yrs. ago, a friend & I went shopping at a mall....as we were leaving & pulling onto the freeway, I notice about 4-5 teenage girls walking along the side of the road. My friend had her 14 yr. old nephew with her & he was in the back seat, behind me....I was driving. We go about a fourth of a mile & we decided to get something at the local Dairy Queen, so, I pull off the freeway. The drive-thru was pretty well packed so we were busy talking as we pull up, one car at a time. We order at the speaker & continue to ease the car up in line. JUST AS my car begins to round the corner of the building, her (bored) nephew gets up on his knees & sticks his out the back window & my friend reaches back to pinch him on the behind, as a joke, to scare him. Well, he let out a loud squeal/yelp & pulls his head back in the window. I pull up to the pickup window, get our stuff & look up & those girls that we had passed on the road was in front of my car screaming obscenities at us, kicking my bumper & daring us out of the car. I immediately locked my doors & just sat there. Apparently, those girls were walking past Dairy Queen just as my friend's nephew had let out that squeal & they thought he was "cat calling" them. They must have taken an offense to it. There wasn't any need to try & explain that he yelled out because his aunt had pinched him, they would have NEVER have believed it. After about 8-10 minutes & the girl at the window threatening to call the police, they left. That was a scary experience !!!

Better yet, I would have followed those future psychopaths and reported the incident to the management, so they may have made restitution to the store. However, the most important thing was to get those jars of mayo off the shelves.

I put my groceries in the car, got my seat belt on and went to put the key in, but it wouldn't fit . So after a minute trying to figure if my key was bent etc. there was a knock on the drivers side window. I rolled it down and an older gentleman said "having trouble?" I replied "Yes, something is wrong with my key and I can't get my car started, can you help?" He said " Sure can, but first you have to get your things, put them in the car behind you." Laughing, he said "Your in my car." Sure enough, we had the exact same car, same model and color.

I was once at the grocery store in the frozen food section, when I picked up a large bag of frozen peas to put in my cart. Well, the bag split open from the bottom and peas ran ALL OVER the floor...everywhere! There was a man standing next to me and laughed and said "you just peed all over the floor!" Well I laughed so hard I nearly did! Luckily there was a stock boy right there to sweep it up, but he thought it was pretty funny too. I live in Ontario Canada and have been to the Carolinas and Florida quite a lot and there are a lot of the angled parking lots there but I don't really see them here. I think the purpose is to keep the flow of traffic moving in the same direction. BUT..if you miss your spot, too bad, I don't think you should back up unless no one is behind you.

I think you are a nice lady and I understand why you were upset with the guy who cut you off, but I think you should of accepted his apology and asked him to PLEASE be MORE careful. Because how many people would of honestly taken the time to apologize? And this may of inspired him to be more careful in the future than blowing him off. I think the only reason he apologized to her is because he came face-to-face with her. What he did was intentional and extremely dangerous. I think her reaction was perfectly appropriate and his action asinine and irresponsible. If a cop hadve witnessed that, an apology wouldn’t have worked out for him.

Phyllis, I have lived in Taos, New Mexico since 2001. I have seen a man dressed up in a kilt in the liqour isle, a man dressed up as the Green man, and a woman who had a macaw and a parrot perched on her shopping cart because she "couldn't leave them out in the truck on a hot day"! A couple of years ago I bought a large plastic bottle of Starbuck iced coffee and when I took off the cap, I discovered someone had peeled back the foil seal and had taken a swig of it! The store took it back and I got a new one, but I was told that you would not believe what people will do in the grocery store!

Please don't worry about miss spelling my name it doesn't matter lots of people miss spell it. I can relate to trying to learn about all the new technology. When I got my first computer the salesman said it would be real easy to learn and all I had to do was read the owner's manual.Even though I had worked with computers on my job I had never actually owned one. It took two weeks of daily reading and trying to learn to use it. I would stay up till all hours of the night determined to learn the different programs in Microsoft Windows. I was reduced to tears many nights to the point Mr. Bucky got worried. Finally once I got really determined and dried my tears I was able to get all the programs going. There are still things on this computer I don't understand how to use. It's probably good for our brains when we're older to have to learn new things. Thanks so much for your comment, it was a bright moment in my day.

I always leave my purse in the top of the cart because it's annoying to lug it around when I'm picking merchandise up, examining it, reading labels, etc. It keeps falling off my shoulder & makes my shoulder ache. I have tried it. It's a no-go for me, but I've never had an issue. As a matter of fact, I've never had a bad experience in a grocery store, unless it's not finding the item I went there for. I wanted to add, though, that one time I was in Trader Joe's and a woman noticed my purse alone & lonely in the cart, tapped me on the shoulder, & politely showed me how to wrap the child safety belt (those red woven straps) through the straps of my purse. If anyone tried to grab it & run, it would prob. give them whiplash :)

Oh, Lord. Grocery stores and I go way back! LOL. I'm a professional mystery shopper, so I am in stores A LOT. My favorite thing was a time I was in line at Michael's. There was only one cashier and she was really working hard... there was a class going on, and the manager was trying to teach the class as well as help cashier (apparently two people had called off sick). They really were apologetic and working hard to keep up, but there were 4 people in line ahead of this woman who was just complaining and whining non-stop. All the rest of us were happy to be patient, and rolling our eyes at each other. I was 2nd in line. When it was my turn at the register, I called to the woman and said, "Ma'am? Would you like to go ahead of me, because you are OBVIOUSLY in more of a hurry than I am!" Everyone in line clapped. The woman came up to the register, and the manager rang me out on the other register, and we ended up walking out of the store at the same time. She turned to me and said, "Well I guess I should say Thank You, but it really didn't hurt you any". And I said, "No... but I'm still going to say "You're Welcome". My being kind didn't hurt YOU any, either." Ugh. People.

I can relate to that flipflop story. I take my little dog out the front door first thing in the morning wearing flipflops. This particular morning it was slightly drizzling and when I brought him back in I put my left foot in the door on my hardwood floor and immediately did the splits. It was like I stepped on ice.

That's hysterical about the woman who pushed your car! What nerve! The thing that happens to me most often is that I apparently become invisible in stores because I'm disabled and use one of those electric carts. So many people have walked into me, blocked aisles with their carts in front of me, pushed their way in front of me, etc that I know it's no accident. To balance that behavior though are those who stop and offer to help when they see me struggling to get something that's just out of reach, so I try to remain gracious. I've had a couple incidents happen to me though that I'll tell here. One was in a parking lot that was completely full at Christmastime. I had circled the lot two or three times when I came around in front of the store and noticed a woman getting into her car. I waited while she got backed up and then parked my car. I about had heart failure when a couple seconds later another woman came pounding on my drivers window screaming at the top of her lungs that I took her parking place. I rolled my window down (in hindsight not a smart move) and said there was no one else waiting for the space when I took it. She yelled at me that she had been sitting and waiting for someone to leave for a good 15 minutes and that I saw her waiting. I asked if she was in that car that was several car lengths past the space and she said yes. I asked how I was supposed to know she wanted that space when she was nowhere near it. She called me an ugly name and stormed off. I called Merry Christmas after her (also not smart) and went on into the store. I live in a state with concealed carry laws now. No way would I smart off to anyone now for fear of being shot! The 2nd story happened in a WalMart just about a year or two ago. As I said I use a cart in the store so I'm just about at the same height as most people's rear ends. I came around onto an aisle and there was only one woman on it. She was in front of the section I needed so I headed in that direction. Just as I got there she passed gas real loud, glanced at me over her shoulder and ran out of the aisle. Just then about 20 people converged on the aisle and some were holding their noses and glaring at me. I kept saying it wasn't me, but since I was the only one there I'm sure they thought I was lying. My daughter still cracks up over that incident. Sigh.

i have experienced the park spot bullies before...confrontation is not my go to game, so i usually just let it go. I did have one lady get very rude with me when i had to use a handicap parking spot. i have lupus and ms.. walking can be a very difficult chore when i am having a bad spell. weather was bad, snow was deep and i was very weak. hubby was gone and i needed a few things from the market. this 'lady' was yelling at me for using the handicap parking spot (i have handicap plates and the hanging sign on the car) .. she was incensed that i would use the space. i stood stunned and didn't comment, just got back in the car and cried. then i got irked... i managed to get back out of the car and into the store. got a cart and was on the hunt for the loud mouthed lady. i found her.. calmly asked if i could talk to her for a moment. she huffed and said..if you must. i told her as politely as i could, that not all handicap issues are visible. explained my issues and told her that when i didn't need the parking spots, i always and thankful and use the regular ones. she stood staring blankly at me for a few moments...then said... i had no idea. then i put the annoying cart into reverse and beeped away from her. best moment I've had in backing a bully down..

I was so humiliated in my younger years and now, well, I'm old, cranky and have learned to use my words so I just "apply" them using one of the Laws of Physics: For every action there is an opposite and *equal* re-action. It works!

Phyllis, you are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for being a source of humor, useful homemaking advice, and even a feeling of friendship for me! I sometimes listen to you to fall asleep at night as your voice is so soothing. You are just the right mix of kindness, intelligence, and sass! I just watched your video, Bad Comments, and had to watch this one to find out what happened. You strike me as one of the hardest working, independent minded, honest women I’ve come across. As a new mom, it helps me to hear how life was back when you had your kids, and how it was when you were growing up. It must’ve been hard to work full time while raising your kids, but you did it! Also, Mr. Bucky are so fun and inspiring-I loved “Our Story.” Thank you for sharing your life with us, even trusting us the tragedy of losing your daughter. I’m so sorry you went through that. Thank you again, and I’ll look forward to your next video!

Thank you for your reply-I’m honored you took the time out of your busy day-and for your nice note of congratulations. It sure is great having a beautiful baby girl, she’s sweet as can be! After watching a few videos, if I may ask, I was wondering about your first few years as a new wife and mom. You may have already talked about this and I just haven’t come across it, but I was curious at what age you were married for the first time, how you handled your first years having two young kids (did you work when they were very little?) and, now, this may be too personal, but how you felt when you knew your marriage was over and how you got through that. I suppose that since I’m currently figuring out motherhood and wife-hood, I guess you could say, I’ve found myself wondering what it was like back then-doctors’ advice, relationship advice from friends, etc.-and how it differs from today. You made my day with your kind reply, and thank you again for being a source of inspiration to us. Best to you and Mr. Bucky!

I used to work in a Walmart in California and the water pallets are horrible. There seams to always be a bottle leaking. I am a person that has the fear of falling and I slip and fall easy if I'm not careful. Once I was working and I didn't notice the water and slid a good two feet. I was fortunate enough to not fall but oh boy it got my heart pumping.

It was Christmas 1979 and my sister and I had a few presents to buy... last minute Christmas eve shopping. I was driving and in a very busy parking lot in front of Hobbits there was a parking place, so I pulled in and parked. Both my sister and I were out of the car and had got onto the sidewalk and a man started blowing his horn. .. it startled both of us, but then he started curing us and said we got his parking spot. Noway did we cut him off or anything so we just ignored Jim and went in the store, only to come outside and my car was keyed all the way down the drivers side. I couldn't believe anyone could be so mean as to do this. My husband and I owned a Auto Body repair shop, so we repaired it, but I never park in front of a store to this day. Love your stories.

I guess I lead a dull life. I don't have any grocery store stories to tell. Well, there was that one time when I was in the produce department and someone called me on my cell. My ringtone at the time was "Boot Scootin' Boogie," and as I reached for my phone and prepared to answer it, a lady said, "Oh, don't answer it yet. I'm not through dancing to it!" LOLOL! We bonded right there next to the onions. She was my kind of person. :) Phyllis, FWIW, you look lovely all gussied up. Incidentally, I think you should get another Town Car. I just learned yesterday that the Lincoln Town Car got a 5-star rating for safety when in an accident, even a rollover. I must admit that I always feel very safe and protected in mine. It's got some years on it (it's an '05) but only 60,000 miles, so I don't plan to ever let go of it.

I so enjoy you're videos/recipes/stories. You look absolutely beautiful. Recently after lunch out, a elderly woman from this community was struggling to get out the door w her walker. I was one of two ppl behind her also leaving. She had one hand on the door and I kept back a safe distance from her...I held the door w one hand waiting patiently making sure not to push it open as I know from experience ( my own & my mothers) that walkers can get away from u- once she was out the door she glanced back and proceded to yell at me as loud as she could. She carried on as if I had rushed and pushed her. I was floored as was the woman behind me . She has a reputation for being loud mean & cussing at ppl. I felt so bad....it brought to mind my mom telling us " there's no excuse for rudeness just cause your'e old-you never what someone is going thru, the littlest kindness can mean alot or 1 wrong word or action can send someone over the edge" she was right..my mom was about kindness in even the simple things, having manners, being respectful. The old woman turned to me and apologized saying she should not have yelled and said what she did. The dammage was already done so it meant little to me. It's a different world we live in today, when what shud be common such as manners is a rarity.

You had a lot of grocery store adventures, so interesting! I remember when I was in the deli section waiting for my turn, this lady barreled in front of me and started her requests. I said hey, I have been waiting and you cut in front of me, she didn't care, made me mad, but I let it go. I did have a positive experience in another store, I left my wallet to pick up something in the produce section and I walked off without my wallet. Over the loudspeaker, they called my name and to go the customer service. A man turned in my wallet and everything was in it, so lucky to have an honest person find it. From then on, I always use a shoulder bag or a wrist strap bag and never lay it down anywhere. I came out of the store and I guess someone backed into my car bumper, damaged it and didn't leave a note, I was not happy, my insurance paid for it. Turns out other people, in my neighborhood, shopped at the same grocery store had dings on their cars, they park farthest from the store to avoid that. We don't have many choices of grocery stores so I park farthest away; do wish people were honest or considerate of other people's property.

In 40 years of driving I had a new car for 2 years, when a drunk driver decided to remove the whole front end. I've never again been able to afford a new one, so I've driven beaters for 38 years. I catch a lot of attitude from people with brand new cars, but I've grown very used to it; and before I continue, I'm not saying you'd ever give anybody attitude! What that cut off guy did was incredibly stupid. There's 3 roads here where it's clearly marked which lanes end; I've had so many people act like it's *MY* lane that ends, when it's actually theirs. And they'll cut me off every time with a foot or so to spare. In one of the spots I'm talking about, it's always people trying to get in front of as many people as they can before the road goes to one lane. This is likely what your crazy driver was trying to do. I loved hearing about your "tug of war" with your cart, *LOL*!

Grocery store mishap. My husband and I had gone to our local Kroger and decided to get some candy with our groceries. He knew what he wanted and snapped it up, threw it in the cart and stood waiting for me to make a selection. Everything looked so good! Out of my peripheral vision, I saw him leaning on the cart handle and he kept looking at his watch. Well, my husband has a short fuse, so he decided he'd just show me how mad he could get and leave me there. He grabbed hold of the cart, took two fast steps and ran smack dab into a cardboard display of paper and plastic picnic ware. I heard the sounds of paper plates slapping the floor and plastic cutlery rattling loudly as they hit tile. (You wouldn't believe how loud that is!)The display was destroyed and it's contents lay everywhere, blocking the aisle. So here's my husband, scared that someone he knows will see him, grabbing stuff up and frantically trying to find shelf space for them. Here comes a clerk. "I'll get that sir, I can get that.." The two of them managed to stand up this mangled piece of cardboard display. They put packs of napkins on it, and the display folded over as if in slow motion, flat to the floor. I don't know what happened after that, because I was two aisles over laughing hysterically (had to buy Kleenex, because i was laughing so hard I was crying). My husband hasn't learned to laugh at himself. People were walking past the aisle I was in and looking at me like I had a few screws loose. If they passed the paper goods aisle, they saw why I was laughing.

Miss Phyllis you won't believe this but a friend and I were in Walmart. It was very busy and we were each pushing a buggy with a few things in each one. We were on the craft ailse and were intently looking at paint. I then took ahold of my buggy and went to the next aisle to look at some fabric. All of a sudden this woman grabs me by the arm and says hysterically, You have my baby. I looked at her like she was crazy. I said "what do you mean, as I looked down at the buggy seeing a newborn baby inside the basket." I was shaking and stuttering saying Oh no, I swear I didn't take her. I didn't even see her. The more I talked the more I sounded like I was guilty. I was so upset I could barely talk. The woman finally realized that I was telling the truth. I apologized over and over. I went and found my friend and told her, We've got to go NOW. She was like why? I said cause I almost got accused of kidnapping. She was looking at me like I was crazy. I said let's get out of here and we did. I later was thinking about the whole thing and I was like, what if she hadn't believed me. I could have gone to jail. It was so crazy.

Not a funny story, but a stupid driver one.... while visiting my mother for Christmas, me, my husband and 3 dogs, our female dog cut her leg open. I tied my scarf into a tourniquet and then frantically called every Vet in the book on Christmas Eve. One surgery called back and we drove off thru the snow to get to them 18 miles a way. 3 miles away we were going up hill on the 2 lane highway in the passing lane about 10 miles over the speed limit, when a truck got right in front of us and slowed down to the same speed as the car on his right ,just to block us. We beeped the horn, we flashed our lights, nothen , we high beamed him then we laid on the horn. I don't know if he was an off duty cop? or just someone who is ignorant that someone might have an emergency, I even tried writing SOS on the windshield with my dog's blood, but it was getting dark. Luckily he went straight and we turned off. My dog had cut her artery and I was soaked in blood, but she was alive. Seems they were specialists in that type of surgery and even though they said she may not be able to use her leg again, she made a full recovery.

eveny119 I'm so glad your furbaby was alright. Ppl can be such jerks. When I was 10 my family and 1 dog were at the lake. Needless to say he stuck his head down the wrong hole! It was a VERY large copperhead's home. Could have been a ratter. I'm sorry I don't know for sure. The same happened to us. Another car blocked us for miles. It seemed a lifetime to me. Finally he turned off. We didn't know it at the time due to all the swelling Skeeter was bitten between the eyes. The fang marks were extremely large. 2 sets of bites. One close to the eye. He lived thank heavens. But I couldn't comprehend why someone would block the roadthen slow down. Even as an adult it's difficult to understand a person's reasoning for being so cruel by putting lives at risk due to their actions.

my scariest moment with my kids happened with a wagon in Publix parking lot. I didnt usually take my oldest child (4 at the time) in public because of a family member stalking me/him, I had a friend that was a cart person and she happened to be the one who bagged and carted my groceries and knew the situation with this person. As we were leaving the store my oldest son was riding the cart just talking and having a great time with us and my 5 month old was strapped into the front of the cart. In the middle of my son telling us a story he stopped got a terrified look and said "mommy the criminals are coming" and sure enough I looked up and his wife was driving up the isle and he was in the passenger seat with the door half open as they drove toward us. My friend said "grab the kids b4 they get here!" as I got the baby out told my older son to run to the car as she is running up the isle blocking them with the grocery cart so they couldn't keep me from leaving. I didn't even put the baby in his car seat just put him on the floor and the oldest jumped into the car and I backed out and took off. I had my older son sit in the floor with the baby till I got home (about a mile and a half) to call police. So my husband went back to Publix to get my groceries and Trish was still in the parking lot not allowing them to drive forward and a car was blocking the back of them and the police had already been called. We moved out of the state as soon as we could after that without ANY ppl in the family knowing our address for years till that person passed away. Thank God for sturdy wagons Publix and a great friend. Lol

Thanks for sharing your stories. I feel like I know you, you're my older sister's age so I guess you remind me of her. One of my favorite grocery stories happened in the early 1980s. I lived in Phoenix, was in my 20s, and was a wild child let loose in a big city. I kept my purse in the cart like you did, learned my lesson about that. I got up to the checkout and my purse was there but my wallet with checkbook was gone. I was with my friend Jim, and they had us step aside and the manager came to question us. I told him it seemed like someone was a little too close to my cart in the cereal aisle. They sent us home as I lived across the street and had a police officer (of course, he was a hunk, too) come to my apartment to report it. I felt so violated having my wallet stolen and all the personal items along with my checkbook. He asked me to describe the contents of my missing wallet. As I was giving the details, I burst out crying and said "and all my VIP cards to my favorite nightclubs are gone, now I have to pay cover charge" (with those you could skip the waiting line and pay no cover). Jim told me that moment was a priceless exchange of glances (wait-what?) between he and the cop, who calmly said "I can see how that could be a problem, ma'am." The store held my cart and let me come back and buy all my stuff, even without IDs. They called later that night and found my wallet - tucked behind cereal!! I got my wallet back with everything in it except the checks, including the all-important VIP club cards! Jim repeated that story to everyone for years and has never let me forget that precious moment in time. I wish that could have been taped, I would give anything to see the looks on their faces while I had a meltdown over those stupid cards!

Some years ago, I was grocery shopping and picked up a nice pot of flowers and had placed them in my cart. My older brother had gotten married the year before and his wedding anniversary was coming up in the next couple of days and being afraid that he would fail to get his wife a gift I thought I would give him give the nice pot of flowers that i had selected. It was around Mother's Day so all of the floral selections were very skimpy and I felt really lucky to have found the beautiful ones that I had. I stopped to look at something on one of the shelves and turned around just in time to see a woman removing the flowers from my cart and starting to walk away with them looking very pleased with herself!. I was so startled that I couldn't react for a moment but then I called out to her and told her those were MY flowers. She returned them laughing and tried to pretend that she thought I was a store employee returning displaced items back to the shelves. II'm still amazed to this day at her brazenness.

Ms Phyllis, the worst grocery story I have is walking out of the store behind a lady and her little girl. I got into my car, put my seatbelt on, played with the radio for a few seconds, then slowly started to back out of the parking space, when I felt my car crash into something. I was driving a SUV at the time and when I glanced up into the rear view mirror to see what I hit, it was a cart!(which wasn't there when I got into my car). The woman I walked out behind had put her cart behind my car! I jumped out my car so fast, and because I was so mad, my car was still in reverse! She was parked next to me, and I yelled at her why did she placed her cart behind my car! She said You placed your cart on my car.(I didn't have a cart. I had one bag!). I think I would've smacked her, but she had her 8yr. with her. I took a deep breath and got back in my car, because it was very slowly rolling back (It was still in reverse). I don't every remember being that angry.

My husband and I took our 3 daughters to see a movie. Because we had to pay for 5 adult tickets plus popcorn and drinks it was a small fortune. So my husband wanted candy, so we went to Target which was next door to the movie theater and bought some candy and he filled my purse up so that I had to hold it closed! He bought our tickets and we were walking across the lobby area and I stepped on a cube of ice and down I went! Hurt my knee but never let go of the purse! I cried all during the movie because my knee hurt and other things began to hurt too! But I didn't want to leave and ruin every one's time! But that was karma for my sneaking in candy to the movies! I've never done that since!

This is the only time I have noticed you with any make up on. Your eyes look great! I would love to know what you are wearing or how you applied it. Your hair looks lovely too! We have some scary shopping day mishaps too ♡

I like the way you have your hair in this video! Since you asked for stories I have one to share. I once saw a woman in her 70's stand up on the back of her shopping cart with all her weight and lean straight back. She and the cart went over backwards and she crashed down on the ground on her back with the contents of her full cart burring her beneath. It was the most shocking thing. She obviously had done it on purpose and I'm sure she was doing it so that she could sue the store with the hopes of getting a huge settlement. Other people rushed to her aid and everybody else was standing around gawking at the scene! I took the opportunity to jump the line and check out before the paramedics arrived and cordoned off the check out area all together. I have no idea what ever happened to her but she obviously did it on purpose so I hope it was all captured on camera and if she tried to sue they could see that it was an intentional slip and fall. Unfortunately those kinds of things happen all the time. People want to get money so they will intentionally do these kinds of things.
