I've actually ridden a grizzly 450 just like that one that was snorkeled and it was a good little atv. So this should be a cool build to watch. I'm interested to see how it turns out especially with the gear ⚙️ reduction.

I’ve owned 2 Kodiak 450s and one Grizzly 450. They are so fun.

I will definitely be following this build. I have a 06 660 so a lot should crossover to that platform. Keep the great videos coming.

You're right it's fun snorkeling that thing...I had a 660 and that thing leaked every time...left me stuck in water barely up to the seat most days

I got a blown engine 09 grizzly 550 fi for 1500 and rebuilt for 1800 and it is great.

Question: Are you still doing 300 stuff? Will you make a arm's and lifts?

I would love to see you do an in depth big bear 400 irs build. Snorkeled with gear reduction ⚙️ and improved suspension. That would be awesome !. I have one of these atv's and I would love to have a gear reduction for mine so I can run larger tires.

@@MudPuppyOffroad I've watched all your old videos especially the ones about the big bear. But there aren't any in depth build videos. Just some cool videos of you riding it mostly. Why is there no way to do a gear reduction on a big bear 400 ?

1.2mm shim on primary epi gold secondary spring and epi extreme belt .... it will turn a 30 aztec diff locked in some nasty sticky mud !!!

What he said. You dont need to do much to these to turn 28-30's, low range is lower than low on the 660/700's. These atv's are geared pretty low stock I think a gear reduction may make it too low unless you have 32 inch tires.

What tires would you run on a Suzuki Vinson 500

I would barely consider them IRS they only have one controller in the rear very wacky I do love those things but the performance in the mud is terrible because the engine is too far towards the rear

@@MudPuppyOffroad that’s fair my buddy got one for free with no top end and threw one on and away it goes, I do think it’s terrible for angles when the suspension moves though

Bro forgot about arctic cat I got a 700 h1 with irs and diff lock and all arctic cats come with diff lock from the 450 up to the 1000
