So these don't have a centrifugal clutch. So the stall speed is really just the timing of when the clutch engages. And yes that is something they're tuning

@@viper2000turbo A stall is always a Band-Aid for proper gearing. In a situation like that. You need the Adam Brown low reduction or the Jeremy Lee primary reduction

If you were to do SuperATV Portals in a Maverick Sport XMR like the one in the video would you do a single or dual idler 4” portal? I hear the single idler is good especially if the max tire size you are going to is 40-44”

Yeah single is totally fine. The problem with these portals is the seals. And the duels don't have any better seals

@MudPuppyOffroad the thought of this is pretty cool and P1000 with a long arm Kit with bigger tires but then seems reverse will still limit you even with both you are about 33% lower in reverse but your low was 60% Reduction. Feel like you'd build around the reverse gear for tire size more so than low Reduction since that becomes lowest/weakest link, no?

@@ProjectAjax I think Adam will have a lower reverse set out eventually. But it'll be fine on 33s. As far as climbing steep stuff and all that you don't really do that in reverse. I'll definitely be more careful in reverse, might add a reverse winch.

Look at the T-case mounts. They are very fragile and snap easily. Try to make some sort of a skid-plate to protect them. If you lean on the T-case, the mounts will surely brake. As for the lockers, my setup would be a Lockright in the rear and a cheap Chinese airlocker in the front. It doesn't cost much, but eliminates the nasty sounds from the front differential.

Hey man, great educational research! I see that you are running large spare tire with KDSS, are you worried that the rear sway bar and the hydraulic pump run into the spare tire under off road articulation?

I checked all that. This spare barely clears the sway bar and cylinder how I have it positioned. I'm deleting kdss anyway though
