Thanks a lot for the video. Got a question- I see you have a thimble on one end of the cable that's running through the Griphoist. I assume that the cable is permanently in the Griphoist then (or at least until you remove the thimble)? Or is there a way to get that cable, with the thimble on it, through the griphoist? Thanks.

You remove the cable. I actually work for the company who manufactures the Griphoist. Those wire ropes are called assemblies. We have different lengths & thicknesses of wire rope, depending on capacity. One side of the wire rope has a "Bulleted" end which help guide the wire through the Griphoist. The other end has the hook on it. Hope this answered your question.
