GRIMPLE - A Bridge Between Operation Ivy and Rancid

This is our conversation abut GRIMPLE and how they fit in the punk rock landscape. An incredibly underrated band imo, and the bridge between Op Ivy and Rancid!

@thepunkrockreview haahaa! That's awesome! My wife and I just bought our first house and after moving in I was going through old boxes I haven't opened since I moved out of my mom's house when I was a teenager. I found some CDs and one of them was the Shit Split with Filth and Blatz.

@thepunkrockreview I know it would be in good hands, but I have a rule that I don't sell my CDs, vinyl, instruments, tools, or guns. I sold some stuff years ago when I was in a bad spot and have kicked myself ever since.

@@thepunkrockreview lol that wasn't a negative comment I made btw, it was in support of the guy in the video who seemed ashamed that he wasn't a huge historian previously. Really enjoyed the video, thanks

Logical nonsense was a way better band. Their drummer was years ahead of Ira. Vic was a really gd bass player, where I had to teach Mark to play bass..literally. Mikey was a way better singer than Pat. Pat had never sang in a band...ever.We were also influenced by diff styles of punk. LN was more influenced by bands like Larm...seeing red...ent..minorthreat. . I was more influenced (at tht time) by oi and Ska. But I agree.....they were wayyy better musically. They also had the benefit of having 2 guitars.
