I like the grills but I believe I like the car without them. Just my opinion did a great job on them

As much as I liked them, as you saw at the end of the video, I decided not to use them.

Nice review, very nice vette, I own a 1990 ZR-1, in the process of semi restoring her after years of neglect. Got her on the road May of 2020 and have driven her over 6k miles so far. I plan on doing some mods, not too extreme, and I plan on enjoying her as much as possible. She is back in her element and I think they should be driven and often. 👍👍🏁🏁

i think as far as the light are concerned, you were up close looking more downward at them, and i believe that is the reason you didnt see them, but if you back up 15-20 feet you would probably see them better... keeping in mind that an oncoming car or a car you are following is going to be much farther away and have a better angle of view at them. looks good

Richard you are right, off camera I did test from a distance and the lights did show up better but not great. Thanks for the comment.

I have them on my car, I put led lights in , they work great!

The led light I installed are all white till you use your turn signal, then the outside one turns yellow. I love them, they do work awesome

I don't think the grills"cheapened" the look of the car. I think it DID give it a more masculine (probably gonna get hit for using that term) stance but I agree she looks great factory straight! Loved the shirt too! I'm assuming black beauty is a 85? Anybody know what year it is? First video from this gentleman I've seen. Really enjoyed his unpretentious manner. Refreshing! Unlike the A HOLE who gave the "cheapen" comment. And yes, I'm pert of the Brotherhood. 2nd time around! 1st was a beautiful 74 Red with black interior. Lost her to a fire! This time A C4! Only had her less than 3 months but my wife of 37yrs and I are enjoying her immensely!

I think they look great but what i really love is that he's making it his own, i love unique cars this is why I chose a corvette.

I'm glad you decided not to keep those vents on. Your Vette looks better without them.

I think its great you're making it your own. Who cares what you do to your car. You're the one that enjoys it and that's that matters. Just don't garage queen them because at the end of the day these cars were made to burn rubber. They were born on race tracks not garages. I'm glad you're making it your own.

I was going to suggest the same thing !! I'm looking at switching my fog lights to LED's. I already have the LED tail lights (not installed yet). I really like the red trim around the car. I'll be sure to look for it the next time I'm at the FunFest Corvette Show.

I've had that grill on mine for about 15 years, i really like it.

I like the rugged look it gives and a little different style. There is not a lot of info or pictures of how they look, that's why I made the video. Glad it helped.

I thought they looked good. Batmobile style.

Hey wondering how you got the red trim lining for around the car? Can only find black.

I got the red trim at Advance Auto if you can't find it there try Amazon.

If you still haven't glued them yet, I would install them with Velcro. Then you can remove them after the show.

James, I will not be gluing them, and I use a easily removable strip to show and take off. Good idea with Velcro. Thank you for the comment

Try painting them red to match your red highlights?!
