One thing I miss about the Army is all the different and wild characters you meet. You'd never had associated or met those people in your life outside but you're all shoved into a unit and become a family. I don't miss the garrison BS though so it balances out..DD214 crew for life.

I've come back to this clip a few times and it never fails to make me laugh.

Airborne Infantry life uncensored 😆

Funny turn of events on how I got to this video. Literally 30 minutes ago, I was doing PT, and a buddy of mine had to carry me. I’m 230 lbs too, and he was a small dude. After PT (I’m in the Marines btw), I shower and sit down and start scrolling through KZread, and his thumbnail had a caption saying “he was 230 lbs of man”. Now here I am, and I’m so glad I clicked, because this is some funny shit 😂😂😂😂.

Amazing, dude was honest with his skills and limitations. No soldier is perfect, even an elite paratrooper isn't perfect. He has realistic perspective of his experience in combat. Great comedian make jokes at his own expense.
