Solid routine and I can attest to those brave knuckleheads that try and make their own job up in country. I knew a kid, Lane, who literally did something very similar but was "guarding" the phone center and having people log in and out....No one assigned that to him and he just started doing it, after months of him doing that the higher ups just assumed it was an actual assignment and went along with it. Then when we left they had literally had him train someone else as relief from the next unit. He was a legend and we were jealous of the balls on that kid.

Yep heard about stop-loss . 😂 its was freaking hot like 120, not to mention when the vechicles where baking in the sun all day then a mission comes up then we're riding in ovens on wheels . we actually had a couple of soldiers that hot heat stroke.

The cream corn thing got me. In the british army it seems like the marching commands only need to have the "eh" and "eye" sounds that sound vaguely like left right. The challenge was to see what you could shout without getting in trouble. My personal faves were "head height", "stir fry" and "slut pie"
