They had a 5 item mystery box. One I remember was a pink sock with marijuana leaf outlines. A hooded scarf from the kazbah. And I got a shirt from a brand initialed Two In The Shirt. 😉 It was one of my favorite graphic tees ever. (The socks were HUF)

Since fulls size run is over I’ve been watching this podcast everyday. Going back and watching every episode from the last few years. Keep bringing on guests like this who are apart of the culture and have cool stories to talk about
I watched this episode with a little tear in my eye. I grew up in a small town in France and I started my sneaker collection with the red Supra Skytop bought from Karmaloop in 2009. Complex and Karmaloop were the two things that made us feel connected to the culture, I spent soooo much time on their. This is a full circle moment, thank you !!
So many deep cuts in this episode reminding me when i first got into street wear. This guy is so unhinged, such a fun episode.
The Supra Skytops were truly a moment in history

Shouts out to Karmaloop. When I got my first job at 7/11 and wanted to get into streetwear Karmaloop and CCS kept a young man fly on a budget.

It really is due to brendan's submissiveness to JLP and JLP's submissive nature to brands i.e kith and higher celebrities. While Welty is a die hard for what he likes 🗣️
Love these transparent guests salute sir
Even when I don't know the guest, you guys always keep it interesting. 💯
I still remember Gourmet Shoes. I look up the Dignan almost every season.
Best episode you guys ever put out! Mad nostalgic thinking about this era. Great guest and dude. Wish him the best.
You guys talking about Full Size Run and Trinidad at about 9:15 makes me miss the show even more 😢❤

Welty, Xsquared was Expressions’s high end chain of stores.
Great episode... excellent guest. I appreciate the interesting conversation and the information gotten from it 🙏
Great episode and great guest, HISTORY.
Just hearing about Supra brings back memories i used to wear supra a lot as a kid it was a great bmx and skate shoe and they had a ton of great colors. Seems like they really havent changed or ever took off just kinda stayed where they were.
Being from Boston, I'm happy to see how it all started, always kept me fly in high school and glad I got to meet selkoe later on after all these years, I said hey aren't you the one on Twitter sharing all the codes 😂😂😂 Im still a fan to this day with Xset, got so much respect for the guy and see him as motivation and role model to make it big no matter what you chasing in life, Great Interview 👏👏🎬 love ya guys ❤ REP THE SET ❌🎮❌
Extremely insightful. Good interview for the culture
Man I used to rock with Karmaloop hard
My clothing brand was on Karmaloop via the Kazbah program! Dope times! 🙌🏾
How did he not mention AVNTSPACE! They are the new and improved KARMALOOP 💯🔥😤
Supra Skytop! That's a flashback to a different life. Hadn't thought about those for a minute. Lots of fun nights in those things.
Ah the memories, I still have the Karmaloop orders in my aol account from 2012.

I still have email from Greg Selkoe from back then.
Me and my homies stayed on karma loop back in the days. Being in San Diego we had a lot of local skate shops that we were copping from loved getting stuff from KL that wasn’t available to us and flexing em in high school it was an era forsure.
Thanks Welty lol24:48 cactus foams🔥🔥🔥definitely reminds me of that
This brought back so many memories
copping lrg off karmaloop was a super go, shouts to turntable lab too
Skytops were such a classic. I still have several pairs in my collection; more as display pieces since the materials are starting to really get damaged with wear… also have a 1/10 pair of Skytop 2 x Sony Piiq that are signed by muska himself. Such a grail.

Great episode !
I loved the Supras Skytop. I still have an unused pair on DS. The ones with glow-in-the-dark outsole.
Back in the day, I was getting into a club that had a dress code, and my creative recreations got flagged. Me and my girlfriend at the time convinced them that it was a luxury shoe, and they let us in.
I remember buying Saucony off Plndr. Which is the cousin/brother site. Im sure I bought plenty shoes from em. But I remember the saucony over a decade ago.
Great episode as always!
This man really told it all
Karmaloop era was special
Bring back Full Size Run. This show just blows smoke up guests as*es where the FSR would call them out and make the interview so much more interesting
Selkoe🙌🙌🙌
It's actually not true that Concepts had a Newbury St. Nike account during the KL days. Back then, Concepts was only in Harvard Square. Technical, a skate shop on Newbury had a Nike account and had MAD SBs. The manager there let me get SBs a few days early all the time. Greg must have just remembered. That's all :)
DOPE33 for life‼️
I grew up on karmaloop and worked for plndr at one point!!
Unrelated to the podcast but the audio from the Complex Sneakers Show always seems to be mixed a lot lower than other youtube videos.
Dope episode
If FSR had to be taken from us, then at least bring back the eBay community question of the week/free sneaker!
I copped a red Lacoste double gator dad hat from karmaloop circa 16' 17' gonna pull it out tomorrow
Welty with the best shoes AGAIN!
I was today years old when I realized the guy who owned Karma Loop also started Faze Clan
Thank God for that velcro strap!
What is the book that is stacked on both ends of the set in the glass end tables? I can see from the spine that they are complex books, but I dont know what book it is. I appreciate if anyone knows and can let me know. Thankyou ✊
The Hip Zepi reference.
Karamaloop is the blackberry of streetware

Joe with the photogenic memory 😂
Was the brand Greg was on about at 40:00 Trainerspotter?
Anyone know what palace jacket Joe La puma wearing??
Did Joe inspire the up coming black and yellow corteiz 95?
I tune into this show on occasion just to see 3 absolute helmets
Greg pulling up NOT in the KarmaLoop Reebok Questions is a missed moment.
Dangers of the convertible note!
always had a nice package even on deployment.
Karamaloop needs a movie made by A24
My boy is all about that money
Why is karmaloop street where when nobody in the streets wore it s**t is crazy to me
The number of 10Deep button ups I bought off Karmaloop back in the year 2000s is embarrassing
I loved Karmaloop, but I'm not feelin this guy. I odnt get the vibe hes cares about any other this outside of teh money he made lol
Just heard episode 351 of a rival podcast where the dood admitted to microwaving his dunks for 30 seconds before wearing! Thoughts on this?!

They been doing that since early 2000s that and they also boil water and hold shoe at sole depth and boil it for like 15 20 seconds and it softens the rubber.
Giger Force 1 = friend of the program. Wavy Baby = enemy of the sneaker community. Interesting.
Welty derails the potentially fun Air Max day convo into a jaded rant then shares cool memories in the most negative tone possible, dude never fails to drain the energy 😂
Leak Louch I see what you did there 😂😂😂Sheek Louch D Block
If you didn't have a purple pair of Supras you wasn't outside
humm he made the right call in not calling himself a “Gamer”
yall need chad musk on here

This is NUTS
If you where a black dude wearing Supras Lil Wayne was most likely the reason why. I remember getting my first pair off PYS
I wouldn’t be here it’ll it wasn’t for karmaloop 🙏🏾

Welty is becoming a total diva
Not a fan of the new setup. Go back to the desks. I feel like it’s a more natural, relaxed set. I know it’s hard not to spin in those chairs yall sitting in now lol
I miss Trinidad James
Matthew j Welty astute cultural commentator….****** trademarked
I'm not buying a pair of Trump's sneakers, they're not for me!!!!!
Funny how you guys grilled the F out of Marcus Jordan about back dooring but this guy admits it so blatantly and yall act like its all good. i'm definitely never going to subscribe to Complex in any form or fashion.
Welty has a 0 tolerance criticism policy. He's good at dishing it. Not very good at receiving it.
