The Complex Sneakers Podcast is co-hosted by Joe La Puma, Brendan Dunne, and Matt Welty. This week, they welcome back a friend of the show Premium Pete, a renaissance man who's gone from sneaker retail to podcasting to pasta sauce to acting and everywhere in between. Pete joins the crew to share footwear stories-like how he got Air Force 1s while locked up or his stash of 400 pairs of MF Doom x Nike SB Dunk Highs-and reminisce on his journeys. I hate sneakers. They are dirty and touch feet all day. That's why I disliked this video.
The passion from Pete and my generation is so undeniable that it just confirms for me that without true love for this stuff we call sneaker culture there would be no HYPE
Never heard of this guy and generally dislike the 2nd half of episodes when guests come on, but I throughly enjoyed this episode through and through! Pete was a character!

Black or Red laces on Black Toes are a must and Chicago's look iconic with black lacing ... there's definitely exceptions but I mostly agree
There was some vague info in this episode that seemed very region or sneaker-specific and I didn't understand a couple of the references Pete made, but overall it was a great episode. And funny.

Sometimes you have to do lace swaps like on Union 4 Desert Moss. The laces they come with suck or sometimes I like to switch my dunk from flat laces to rope laces
