A green flag for me is an affectionate man. There’s nothing sexier than a guy who gets back home and wants to hug me for a couple of minutes, hold my hands on the street, kiss my forehead when I’m tired. Affection is absolutely everything

I used to compromise on financial stability. Not again. The world revolves around money. I used to compromise on sex, NEVER EVER again. I starved for two years, it drove me mad. I used to compromise on distance, not again. If you are not in the same city as me, date people from your city. Leave me alone.

In love with Ivy's outfit!!!
The question might not be "WHY ARE YOU IN THERAPY" coz that might come off as intrusive. But coz you also want to know who you are dealing with. The way to phrase that would be, "WOULD YOU MIND TELLING ME ABOUT IT". OR "WOW WHAT IS THERAPY LIKE?". they will tell you sth that will give you a hint of what it's about.
Please introduce that chicken... It's officially the other member of Over 25 🤗😄

I previously compromised on my importance in the relationship. Like it didn't really matter what I wanted,as long as my partner was happy, but I've learnt how to place value on my own wants and expectations, and it's honestly amazing to have someone place as much value on me as I do on them.
I get you Lornzie on not being able to express yourself in an intense conversation😩. I have that weakness.

Totally with Lonzie on not being able to fight. Expressing when I am angry is so hard coz the emotion would overwhelm me and I would just give up on my stand and let the other person take the day. BUT, I am learning to express myself even in hard conversations. Even though it means waiting just a little to get my thoughts in order. So that I can express without the blockage of emotions.

My red flag: The moment I feel hurt, I become someone else..I forget that we need to preserve the relationship..I go for the jugular, I’ll say anything and everything to hurt them back. And then I end up regretting because I didn’t mean anything I said.

@@Anyango31 Yeah exactly we don’t start it, we get provoked. But tbh it is a problem, we need to self reflect and maybe find out why we feel the need to exert revenge or fight with no end in mind. Maybe we have childhood traumas and we didn’t learn healthy conflict management. I am seriously working on it; these days I catch myself doing it and I have to talk myself down.
One of my red flags is that I hold grudges 😭..I don't let things slide unless you apologize and most of the time it's the little things being said or done and that person is unaware

A suggestion,,could you ladies do Your OOTDs just at the beginning of your episodes?
I love the mood in this video, Idk the circumstances behind it being like this but I love it. Really shows how important and serious the issue of GREEN FLAGS are and we need to look out for them.
What Lornzie said about being unable to articulate yourself in a fight is also true for me. I'd rather not talk about it, but I also want to solve the issue there and then, but if I try to, I'll most likely cry and I don't want to be seen as weak. So I postpone to when we're not together I text the issue. So far it has been working, but its because I don't live with my partner, I have to work on it though, for the long run.

major green flags for me or what I found in my partner is being focused, disciplined, respectful and secure.

Dating in different financial brackets is very difficult. I couldn't do it and straight up told him "it's because you don't have money". Yo! I was planning to buy a house, and he was planning to fix his 14k phone. No, ah ah no. Sharing problems is hard, one time I needed 245k to solve a problem all I got was "wueh, sorry babe". It's hard to even think of going for simple drinks because you have to factor in their financial muscle. No, lasted 3days. I couldn't do it.

My own personal red flag is that I shut down emotionally when I feel hurt, and if I have to articulate that hurt I instead respond and explain the anger instead of the pain I’m actually feeling. I’m working on it though😅. Lord knows I’m trying 😅
Jules not understanding how someone can’t fight (from Lornzie) is how you know she’s just that girl 😂😂😂😂😂😭
eish, these episodes streak have just been the -ish for me. This entire video is a green flag for my relationship with the channel. The uncomfortable conversations thing, yhooo!!! Very key.

I relate with Lornzie so much . I hate confrontations so much I'd rather not articulate my feelings even when I really should ,it sometimes gives avoidant enery but am so overwhelmed by the emotions and how hurt I am., I'd just rather sweep it under the rug or leave all together. I hate it 😩

This is so enlightening! Thanks guys🤍🤍
Best KZread Channel ever 💜💜.... May Shikie feel better
A green flag for me is someone who let's you express yourself, let's you be yourself and gives you the space and freedom to grow and learn especially from the mistakes we make, as your biggest cheerleader. Red flag that I overcame is putting my happiness and others before myself, thinking I was being selfless, whereas I just wasn't loving myself knowing and appreciating my worth.

Much love ladies ♥️ I'm always glued to this channel and have got no regrets. May I get to know the name of Jules' hair? Kindly. I love it
Having good relationships with their own family members is a green flag. Someone who lets me be and make my own mistakes(because I'm not a child!) is a green flag...
My green flag is a kind man. My husband is so kind it is almost unnatural. However, his kindness has seen us through some difficult moments. Every woman needs a kind man/woman. My other green flag is Lornzie's level of commitment on this channel. On that you're a total 12/10 because I can't remember you ever missing an episode even when pregnant. Hats off to you for giving it the seriousness it deserves.
I used to be anxious. Now I am an avoidant from fear of opening up.
I pray for that Jules get a good man or a son/daughter soon ☺️such a beautiful soul you deserve lots of happiness 🥰
It's about time we discuss the green flags. Being open to talk about this, is a green flag already 😊
Oh gosh, such a good conversation! I used to compromise on faith, like that is not something I can do at all right now. I do not compromise on people that do not believe in God, atheists. It works for some but definitely not me. I tried and it was just sad all the time. Kept thinking the person would come around. No compromise on rudeness, alcohol, smoking, or any drug-related things. It is a downward spiral I never want to go through again.🙂

Me too sunshine 🌞
Loved the conversation ladies wah the money thing so true juls.
For me my green flags are; 1-a man who is intentional and knows exactly what he wants with me. 2-Puts in the effort and keeps his word. A man who keeps his promise on whatever he said. That's attractive I cannot deal with boys who tell lies. I used to compromise dating avoidant men and yet I was an insecure person according to my attachment style
With you all on the kindness, watching how one interacts with people around them can tell a lot. Are people happy to see them? Even when they don't deserve it, are they good to people they aren't bedding? Learnt not to compromise on: a lack of ambition, a sense of curiosity, reliability. Red flags: Consistent money problems, poor body hygiene and no purpose/direction in their career. Green flag, Kenyanness (the sense of humour + the 'enjoyment' spirit this comes with), socio-economic progress.
“Not good at articulating my thoughtd when upset “- Lucky you Lonzie …. Because me I have to hold myself back from talkong

Out of topic but can you guys have an episode on having kids in the modern day and the phobia on the new generation.because am 25,and i've been so anti kids like i genuinly can't get a single beneficial reason to why people should get kids.ppl look at me weird when i say i don't like kids and don't see why i should have them, and i hate that they try to change my mind but this is how i feel.from what i see kids just take from you for the rest of your life and all you get is some giggles.i strongly believe it's solely for procreation and that alone.and only those who have a strong tolerance, will to fight and perseverence can do it.this other reasons people give don't make sense at all.

@@okum5092 That's what baffles me too. I think some are just in love with the aesthetic of having a family and never really think through the whole idea of parenthood so they can decide if that's what they truly want. I think it's selfish to bring someone to this earth just because you don't want to be lonely in your old age. But then, their choices don't affect me so I try to respect that. There are awesome parents out there though who are doing an amazing job and it warms my CF heart to see them give their kids a non-toxic childhood.
