What you’re witnessing here is pure muscle memory, almost no thought or effort goes into it after you play the same song thousands upon thousands of times over several decades. I guarantee you he could play this song in his sleep. Hell, he probably could have by the time they recorded it in 1994 lol
I love how billie and Mike looking at each other and start smiling while playing welcome to paradise all they're old memories! :)
You wanna know how Billie's guitar sounds exactly as it ever has? Because that's the exact same guitar he's ever had.

"Welcome To Paradise" Dear mother, Can you hear me whining? It's been three whole weeks Since that I have left your home This sudden fear has left me trembling 'Cause now it seems that I am out here on my own And I'm feeling so alone Pay attention to the cracked streets and the broken homes Some call it slums Some call it nice I want to take you through a wasteland I like to call my home Welcome to paradise A gunshot rings out at the station Another urchin snaps and left dead on his own It makes me wonder why I'm still here For some strange reason it's now Feeling like my home And I'm never gonna go Pay attention to the cracked streets and the broken homes Some call it slums Some call it nice I want to take you through a wasteland I like to call my home Welcome to paradise Dear mother, Can you hear me laughing? It's been six whole months Since that I have left your home It makes me wonder why I'm still here For some strange reason it's now Feeling like my home And I'm never gonna go Pay attention to the cracked streets and the broken homes Some call it slums Some call it nice I want to take you through a wasteland I like to call my home Welcome to paradise Oh, paradise

Tre's one of the greatest drummers around.... super solid!
Daaaaamn...that's good!!!!
Incredible band .....Tre Cool is one of the best drummers to come out of the 90s.....he created beats and a style that NO ONE had heard ...he did it effortlessly.
Damn, compare Trè in this to their Holiday performance. He craves the old punk songs, and he hasn’t slowed down. His arms and wrists are just as strong as ever.
I love this song, it's great.
Still my favorite rock band after all these years.
2:00 is so good
Tre is my inspiration. I love his style and I will always idolise him. He's the coolest

Love seeing the Gary puppet in the background. Feels like it is the early 90s all over again!
This song will always remind me of doing my homework, of course, at home in 10th grade. At that point this album had been out for five years.
Chewing gum and singing , now that's talent! Oh and Tre is so awesome as well ! Love his bad ass drumming! Lol
They seriously sound perfect live 🤘🏻
I'm trying to enjoy mikes bass solo and all I can pay attention to is the Gary puppet
"Damn thats good!"

nice drummer
I really like the rough voiced Billie in this video, it's works in a way
You know a band kicks ass if they can rock a stadium, arena, club, or a small recording studio. 👍
Damn, that was almost exactly an album perfect recreation. Most bands don't get it that close on a promo tour of a current single. Fanfuckintastic.
I love this song
Mike's backup vocals on the chorus 😍
I like how that guy in the back kinda just stands there awkwardly just singing a couple of word
The backing vocals are so good
tre is so amazing !!!!!
lol love this song
After (22) years of living, creating and performing as rock stars. How many bands could completely nail down and perform a (22) year old song as amazing as this?
Playing in their 40’s and still kicking ass, vi va la Green Day!! 🤘🏻
The bands always sound amazing on this.
2:00 best moment - they look happy to play this old classic song :)
Get at it Trey! Woo!
Great live version. Always love the jump Mike does just before the end of the chorus.
Best live version of this song; no question.
This is the closest ive ever heard billies voice to sounding like he was when he was young I've ever heard. Awsome man
2:51 Tré Cool is best punk rock drummer. Holy shit!
Damn I'm supposed to be going to bed rn but now I can't sleep because Green Day got me hyped af
