Metallica was there going through the motions and put on a half assed show compared to the other times I had seen them live. Fred Durst hit the stage and burned that f'in place down. I have never seen anyone with as much energy and enthusiasm for a crowd as he had, and that day convinced me that he is a true performer, and is definitely in it for the crowd.

Yea i noticed that in a big way. Ssriously explosive you see that crowds response?? That song is such a banger. So much energy and intensity was put into that song you have to jump when you here that riff and those drums together. If you love rock music, you have to love smells like teen spirit. It was literally the last legendary rock song we've had

@@TheJumpRopePreacher When people say they suck i always say: it's easier to write a dream theater or steve vai song than a "simple" but genius, worldchanging immortsl 3-4 chord riff. Players who can come up with that, especially more than once, have an intelligence regarding what to do, what not to do, that can't be attained by practice. Give a regular guy enough time and hard work and he will probably get good at shredding though.
