This normal Master of Puppets tempo is nothing for them, they're not even blinking. Most amateur trash guitarists can handle Master Of Puppets. This live version hower: kzread.info/dash/bejne/dKqfrJiulbuTdLQ.html

lllblisslll , I know you're not familiar with guitar, but try this: make the motion like you're picking back and forth across a string at a relatively slow pace. Now, try it again but do it twice as fast. If you downpick everything you have to bring your pick across the string twice as many times as alternate picking would require. It without a doubt causes you to hit the string harder, so that's essentially why downpicking is better for rhythm. That and your wrist is naturally faster on the downpick than picking up.
real music at its finest. gorgeous. absolute perfection.
The energy and passion!! Even after playing this tune a hundred thousand times they clearly still love it just as much as we still do \M/

You forget how good they are now. How good they were when you were 15. For most of us that was 25 years ago. Still killing it

Technically you could say their guitars are ripe with autotune, as all the effects are controlled by techs - not a stombox in sight.
@kvb.123_5

@@ef4947 do you know what auto tune is? All the tech is only changing the pitch of the guitars making the sound clearer for the audience. Unlike actual auto tune, the same amount of skill is still needed

There is a story from Charlie Benante of Anthrax when they were touring with Metallica during the Damaged Inc. tour for the Puppets album back in 1986, and Charlie never could understand what James was yelling just before the solo... So Cliff Burton told him James was yelling "pancakes", and that's been the running joke ever since. Obviously, we know the lyrics are "fix me", but I'm convinced that James sneaks in a "pancakes" every now and then for fun.
