Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today I am going back to the basics, and will be teaching you something so simple yet so necessary - Green Chutney/Mint coriander chutney. This much requested recipe is very simple to make at home and I will be showing you how to get the perfect consistency. So lets get started!

It would be very helpful if you would give the English names for ingredients, for instance, what is boondi? Are they all types of lentils? If so, could you give the English names for each ingredients. Thanks.

1/4 C soaked chana dal, 2 Tbsp water placed in a grinder, 1/2 C green chili's, 3 cloves of garlic, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds, 1 inch ginger, 1 bunch cilantro, 1 Tbsp rock salt. and 1 tsp sugar Blend ....

Boondi , phutana dal, water or curd,green chillies , ginger, garlic , jeera , bunch of coriander leaves ,pudina leaves ,lemon juice ..rock salt.

Hi Kanak,I tried this mint chutney today & it was so yummy.Thanks for giving such nice recipes iwith such simple twist which makes it mouth watering. I have tried mint chutney so many times by watching some other youtube videos but it never had the right consistency . Keep sharing such recipes always

Hi I've eaten a lovely green chutney. It's over a month ago. I still have it in the fridge and it's absolutely devine. I'm sure it must have vinegar because it's kept so well. It's not thick like this. It's watery. Please help. Love from South Africa

It's a type of crunchy ball added to meals like rice with curd to add a crunchy texture
What you have used looks like kitchen salt or खडा नमक. The fine one is called table salt. Rock salt is white sendha namak. Which one do you mean.

It will become tooooooooo spicy if u add the number of chillies like she mentioned. U can't use it then. Instead of boondi I added 3 tbsp of roasted gram and 1 tbsp of channa dal. 1 tsp of chat masala. Rest ingredients just like she mentioned. U can use normal salt. No worries, Perfect taste. Add max 5 chillies. That was sufficiently spicy. I tried. So I am saying. And try to talk less 😐
