My friend's dad had one of these back in the 1970s. I don't know if it was the same model, but it looked a lot like this. I remember how amazingly car-like it was.

Idk what’s more incredible, the fact that the boat handled like a 60s car or that a 60s car felt so boatish that you couldn’t tell the difference lol

....avevo 11 anni quando papà c diceva turbo boost si sprigionavano 750 cavalli che sullo stretto di messina con la chiglia da lago immaginate voi sembrava di decollare certe legnate !!!!!

Stunning boat, but the fastest she is not....There is one with Lamborghini V12.

@henrikl1394 - That would be the Riva Aquarama Lamborghini - two 4.0 liter, 350 HP V12s! Top speed was 55 MPH.

@@onecookieboy Good point, but the narrator said "almost" 50 knots, so they were essentially just as fast. Personally, I would prefer the obvious status of having Lambo V12s powering my Riva than Cadillac engines! I'll guarantee you the Lamborghini Riva is worth considerably more than the Caddy powered one!
