Building Ferrari's all electric wooden boat. (Part 1)

Спорт

Part-2 is now available: • Building Ferrari's all...
As an amateur hobbyist boat builder, I decided to replicate the Ferrari's designer Frank Stephenson's custom made Slipper launch electric boat.
I used designs from Dan Lee : @DanLeeBoatbuilding the plans are drawn by naval architect Michel Berryer which in my opinion way superior to Glen-L's blueprints. Modern boat building is evolving and being able to navigate a 3D modeled blueprint with optional CNC cut components is the future of the wooden boat building.
I apologize for the mistakes that you may have noticed. I didn't even held a hammer before 2020 :) and boat building is an unending learning process.
My friend Bob is also working on one of Dan's designs Temptress. You may follow him on@Polymerman
Stay tuned for the part-2.

I was using my table saw exactly the same way you are here when the blade caught a knot in the wood and pulled it through really fast. I thought I was so fast and reacted quick enough to let go of the wood before it cut me. (four fingers cut almost off. I was lucky to keep them. ) It wasn't until I felt the blood shooting out of my hand that I realized I wasn't as quick as I thought. It only takes one time and it happens faster than you think. You are getting your hand way to close to that blade. Other than the closeness to the saw, I love the work you are doing. Great channel!

Thank you for your concern. That is my biggest fear as I’m in healthcare and my fingers are my life. Just for that reason I’ve bought a saw stop. It won’t help with kickback but I hope it will save my fingers in case of an accident.
