Ғылым және технология

In this DIY video (GREAT RESULTS my NEW WASTE OIL BURNER NOZZLE DESIGN) i show you how to make your own waste oil burner nozzle. Had great results with it so far. I will keep trying different things to improve my heater and share the results with you on you tube!
You can get almost all of the parts i used for this build on Amazon, Ebay, O'reilly auto parts, Home Depot, ect.
Filmed with my Samsung Android Phone, edited with Windows Movie Maker, Video Shop, Tube Buddy on my HP laptop.

Hello friend , just wanted to warn you that i have done lab analysis on used motor oil and it often contains lead and other metals so be sure you are getting 100% ventilation. Great work i plan to use your site glass idea some day , very clever retrofiring skills

Very innovative design. I'll have to try this as a replacement on mine. I would like to know if the blue flame changed with the stainless tube exchanged for the bean can. Thanks for sharing

Darryl Chamberlain Burnt the bean can up in a short period of time like 36 hours replaced it with a stainless flue pipe, it lasts longer but it burned up as well, need to go with the heavier gauge make it last longer thanks for watching

Outstanding set up. Congrats on that one! Anyway I do have a question for you about your blower. I may have missed it but what type is it? I am planning a very similar burner and was wondering how it might work, but now I see! Do you have a rough idea as to the pressure your blower has? I have a couple of squirrel cage fans which have a good flow rate but maybe not enough pressure to feed air through small holes. I am convinced that small holes providing higher velocity air provides the best burn and your setup pretty much proves that out! Looking forward to getting it done. Just got an old wood stove to use last night. Keep showing any updates and thanks for posting what you you've done!

Throw Me Back I had a 110 volt blower, squirrel cage type, it did not have enough pressure as you are stating. I then for test used a hair dryer which had enough pressure to run it however the hair dryer does not last very long. What I am using now is a Shop-Vac type vacuum- blower from Home Depot called a bucket head cost me about $21 and has been lasting pretty good so far. The Shop-Vac blower has plenty of pressure in fact I have a ball valve to restrict it with router speed control set on its lowest setting so the vacuum is barely running. Check out my channel and play list for build of this waste oil burner setup I have several videos of the build. Thanks for watching don't forget to subscribe and share good luck!

How long did the galvanized can last and is it necessary to run this nozzle? Thanks Jason

It only lasted a few hours before it finally flaked apart LOL you don't have to use this nozzle it's just one that I come up with on my own

This looks like you now have better - cleaner burn.. are you now using less oil?

gardenweld Yes it's way cleaner and it is easily adjustable, and it does use just a little bit less oil like maybe one drop per second less, i usually burn about four drops a second now I can turn it down to two to three drops per second

The inside of modern cans is coated with a coating to protect the food from coming into direct contact with the metal of the can. This coating thin as it is , is not healthy to breath the fumes when burning off. I know it wouldn't be long lasting, but even the coating on a nut or bolt, when welding, as it burns off can be toxic as that is cadmium.
