Great build and I love the deer cutout. That is something I'd like to make with my powerplasma cutter and incorporate in my burner.

I like that valve on your system. Where would someone score one of those?

Try disc brake rotors for burn pans AND lids. Air from 360° around from the fins. Cut the center out of the top one and add a flue, or just stick it inside a stove like this with that nozzle fitting down the original hole with the bearing race still in. Fell into that with a big doh moment.

a blower takes outside air in for combustion and a separate blower for the forced air heat, air knobs on the door are slightly open for combustion.

What type of float did you use to stop the flow into your holding tank and what type and size is your filter separator

+Richard Johnson I just used a regular swamp cooler float assembly with the fittings you can buy in a kit on Amazon or Ebay or even your hardware store, same with the separator they're all quarter inch pipe size. Hope this helps thanks for watching!

+Richard Johnson Just a regular swamp cooler float kit and for the filter is just a standard hydraulic tank filter I'm not sure what Micron it is?

Is the heat the same as a fire going? How much oil do you think you burn in an hour?

  • @mugivermusclemachines5744

Fire compared to wood fire I would say is the same, Burns 2 litres per hour, Depending on how much heat you want. Thanks for watching and commenting!

how is it not blowing smoke inside the house when you turn on the blower?

The heat from the flame goes up the chimney and creates a natural draw and sucks the smoke out!

Try a a stainless steel bowl on top for a lid it cut my oil use in half and burned hotter/ cleaner. Has to be offset about 3/4 of an inch to allow air flow

+Ray in Canada the most I have run it so far is 24 hours straight then I needed to clean out the bowl. It only took about 5 minutes to clean the bowl out and fire it back up the stove didn't even get cold. I am running a 6-inch stainless steel bowl now and it seems to work great!

Was thinking about doing this to my wood stove, but adding a 30 pound propane bottle on top of the stove and chimney to capture more heat,(like a rocket stove heater) any thoughts?

  • @mugivermusclemachines5744

+Ray in Canada That should work as long as you can maintain a draft up your chimney.

These dang things are finiky.. I tried to go naturally aspirated and got close with very little smoke, but, never got "No Smoke". Never got any blue flames either and I tried everything I could think of before I started with the fans/blowers, etc.. But, I started playing with a 20lb cylinder because that is what was on hand and in my way.. Ha.. I am beginning to doubt those who say they burn "Straight WMO" and have "No Smoke".. I am going to mix some Diesel/Kero/Gas with the oil at different ratios, etc,, and see what it takes to burn blue and totally.. I am only working with a 4 foot stove pipe, outside testing,,, so, if I get it figured out, only gets better when I hook it up to a 10 or 12 foot stove pipe chimney.. Going to make a small fuel container/source when I play with it next to play with the fuels.. And, when I get it figured out again,, I am going to use that fuel container to drip some water in the oil again.. Talk about Wow heat and Wow Flame, and clean burning for the next 10 seconds before it soots up again.. It started raining when I was testing with the 4' open flue and wow,, what a surprise that was.. Itching to see that again, but, you have to have it running pretty hot to get the "Wow" effect. Want to see if it is sustainable.. Might get a ration of water to oil and cut down on fuel costs.. :).. Everyone is buying used motor oil around here.. I only have about 70 gallons for testing and playing, but, I figured I would learn a bit... Might find a fuel source if I get something that "Really works"".. Thinking about radiant heat in the dirt floor blacksmith shop.. Always cold in there.. Ha.. Cheers and Good luck with it. Crap.. I thought the video was new.. 2016.. Guess I better see what else you came up with.. Thanks...

I believe adding water just vaporizes everything until oxygen can intervene and that is where you get the big wow.. I believe the trick is getting more oxygen with the vaporization. You're on the right track though my friend let us know your results!!
