But, I've travelled the world, and I can say that in comparison to alot of people, especially in the digital age, Indians are more aware of their government and more involved in their democracy. The only other people I found to be as involved in the government are the Germans and South Koreans. The people least knowledgeable or involved in their country's government, and the general democratic process are the Americans and British. Perhaps that's the reason why, they keep screwing up. All I'm saying is, its important to be aware and involved, because governments don't always have your best interests at heart.
