This was my first Dead concert. I was 19 years old. Got turned on to them and their music in early 70's. They got ahold of me very sudden, I thought until I went to see them. That was all it took, I was an instant Deadhead, heart and soul.

Yeah the whole Spring 78 and really the entire year of 78 is in my opinion the most underrated!!! Year in GD History So many people rave about 77 which is one of the "Best" Years as well but 78 to me has an extra Snap in the Steps Energy all its own! Not a bad song or show in the bunch! This has to be 1 of the Hottest Peggy Os Ever!!!

Phil really has a strong bouncing groove throughout, especially on the shoot'em up polka songs. Ship of fools is one of my favs from this concert, great feeling and Jerry sings the lyrics amazingly clear. 78 was the first year I saw them

One of the best shows i have ever heard. As a child of the 80's, it just goes to show i missed a TON of ridiculous DEAD before i even knew they existed. Ripping 76-78 stuff that shows the band in proverbial "6th gear"

Really solid throughout, but the highlights for me are Jack Straw, Peggy-O, TLEO, Estimated, and Sugar Magnolia... but especially Scarlet>Fire (the first one I fell in love with).
