Very true. My ex absolutely said no to the puppy I brought home. And he gave me 2 weeks to find it a new home. I pretended I found a home and tried to pick up the puppy off his chest. He held it tight, and said no, she ain’t going nowhere. She became his pride and joy until the end. She was a great dog. She passed away from cancer 13 years later. It broke my ex. I hear he has another dog now. He was not an animal lover before he met me.

My grandma is 96 years young! Between the English bulldog who never leaves her side and her black cat that is constantly in her lap or on the back of her chair, they give her a purpose to keep on going! Two years ago she was hospitalized with pneumonia and the doctors were preparing us that she was not going to make it. We kept showing her photos of how sad her fur babies were bc they actually missed her! Well, a miracle happened and she pulled through and is still going strong. I believe it has to do with her strong dedication to her fur babies! Never underestimate the importance of animals in the lives of the elderly! ❤

That's how we got my Jingles, he just moved in as a kitten and we had no say. Yesterday we celebrated his 6 years with us.🥰🥰

He's a typical cat who loves his grandma, which is why he's her shadow, and she loves him too 😂

100% this cat has extended this amazing "Grannys" life!!! She is more mobile, feisty and active cuz of this cat!! Love this!!!

I love this! My grandmother was a NO PETS in the house kind of lady. When she moved in with my dad and me we had 3 cats. One lived on the back of her recliner and the other 2 in and out of her lap! She promised she could care less! Lol, she fed them, gave them treats and worried and scolded when everyone was not inside by night time! ❤

How cute is that! The two of them are like a little comedy act. With a bit of work she could probably get him to change a few of his behaviors, but this is the way they communicate. It's their routine and they're both in on the joke. Granny may also not realize that he is a rambunctious kid and will settle down as he gets older.
