One of the many best parts of seeing cat parents be cat parents 😂😊 My Momo used to eat vanilla ice cream with me, miss her everyday ❤🕊

Anyone notice how incredibly pretty these cats are!! Even when Angie hissed at Tommy she still looked sweet and pretty. No wonder Dad fell in love with them 😊

My dad was exactly the same. He didn't want cats. But when we convinced him and got the first one he was the biggest fan within a few days. When she passed and we wanted to get another cat a few years later he was again absolutely certain that we weren't getting a cat. A week later we had another cat and a few days after that she was his best friend. Then again, a couple years after getting her we found an injured stray and convinced him to temporarily let us look after her. A week later he was paying her vet bills and she never left either. lol

📌This story is snipped up from an hour long interview so it seems little different from the truth..Several years ago i got Angie(white cat) without my dad knowing as he didn’t want a cat but he fell in love with her immediately and ended up being the alpha instead of me as he kept playing with her at night time after his night shifts while i was asleep..😂 a few weeks later, i got a job offer where i had to move city and after weeks of deciding, we decided that Angie would stay in my family home while i move away for an opportunity i couldn’t refuse plus i knew i was going to come back within 2 years which i did.. Fast forward to lockdown and me and Angie literally became best friends, and I became the preferred adult to be around the house, after lockdown, I didn’t like leaving Angie alone as we could leave the house as usual so I decided to get her Tommy to play with so she wouldn’t miss my presence as much because we would literally be side by side everyday during lockdown for a whole year.. Then after Tommy turned 1, I decided to get him a friend to play with as Angie sleeps most of the time leaving Tommy bored! One year later, is today..Merry Christmas💙

The dads always turn out to be so sweet.

Inevitably, the family member most vocally opposed to getting a pet is the one who develops the strongest BOND with them. As a kid, I was never allowed to have a pet. Then, just before I moved out, a stray cat adopted us. Arnold became my dad's son. I watched my dad lose his mother, younger brother, and many friends. But the first time I ever saw him cry was when that cat passed away. They reveal a love in our hearts we didn't know we even had!

I've recently discovered the reason a lot of adults don't want a pet is they had 1 before, got incredibly attached, then it's passing left them soo down and hurt they felt they couldn't go on. Makes sense, just isn't fair to kids who want nothing more than a furry friend to love, and I think animals are good for kids, when taken care of, teaching them to love, share, etc.

​@@kaylamartin3053not just that many people have had a bad experience with one and cats get a bad reputation from people who hate them plus the superstitious beliefs thanks to a pope hundreds of years ago who claimed cats were shape shifting evil witches especially black ones, and yes some people may have lost a pet before and don't wanna experience that again.

Right? 😂 Grandma reminds me of my own elderly mum scolding my naughty little dog for being on the sofa at first then a month later she was asking "Where is Henry?" because she wanted to cuddle him during her nap on the same sofa. He made caregiving for her much easier, always he would watch out for her wandering or going places she would not be safe. He is just a little terrier mutt but he loved taking care of her before she passed.

Every single time I watch this video I crack up 😂 “The third cat was the solution” 🤣💀 Cats really are the best kind of pets, I agree 😻

My little momma came to live with me for 10 yrs before passing at 97. We were a military family & had a few pets over the years. Momma wasn't thrilled about animals in the house but she knew how I was. Her wish was to pass at home with her pets who she referred to as her friends. She had a husky, a pit bull, the neighbor's dog, & 3 cats who were in the bed with her when she passed just like she wanted. BTW, her bed was a California King so there was room for all her friends.

I think people just need to understand cats aren't immediately friendly to strangers because they're quite small despite being great hunters. That means lots of things can hurt them so they are understandably cautious. You have to earn their trust. Once you get it and they start opening up to you they can be the loveliest cuddle bugs! It's rather unfair that people think of them as unfriendly. You don't run up to a stranger and say they're unfriendly if they don't immediately want to be held or hugged by you.

When I met my monkeycat at the shelter, he immediately wrapped his whole body around my hand and refused to let go for 20 minutes, purring his furry little head off and grooming me. He is the perfect example of pure love, no "acclimatisation" required!

From no cats to owning 3 cats😂.. moral of the story is no matter how sensitive we are, animals are pure hearts and they can warmth us and heal us in some way❤. Ty for sharing

cats can always find their way back home. my cat used to leave home for days and sometimes weeks but we'd always hear his meowing at our front door when he was ready to come home. Sadly though, letting your cats roam around outside greatly shortens their life. Usually a year or 2 before they disappear.

My dad doesn't like cats, he's allergic. He used to talk to our first cat. He sort of talks to our current cat, and sometime he'll put cat tv on for her. He loves her, he just won't admit it ❤

Cats know how to win over the toughest family members: it's a survival skill, to be capable of "reading the room". But they also instinctively _know_ who has unmet affection needs, and end up spending more time with them. May Buddha always smile upon these furry, little ones. Bless their hearts forevermore.

Oh my goodness, I’m literally crying! This was the cutest, funniest, and at the beginning VERY emotional video about the cats. Cats are absolutely precious, beautiful, loving, and funny. I lost my precious cat suddenly on 12/23/21 and he was my world, who got me through my divorce in 2014 and my father’s sudden passing a couple months before he suddenly passed away. I still miss him so much and am ready to adopt another cat hopefully soon. These precious cat are spoiled (like they should be) and extremely loved!💜😻💜😻💜

HAHAHA!!!! Fantastic! And I love how the elderly woman at the end is using her cane to joust with Tommy, who is just putting his front leg up in defense! Lovely, lovely cats. A lot of men seem to have a misconcption of cats, but like all animals, they are fascinating. I got a semi-ferral barn cat a few years ago who has tamed quite a bit, but he is a professional exterminator. He caught seven mice in the first four days of coming to his new home. But beyond that working aspect, they make absolutely marvellous companions, and don't need constant attention. Often they are just happy sitting with their trusted family members.

My granda died like 2 years ago. He had a cat and before he fell asleep for the last time, I promised him we (the entire family) will take care of him. He smiled at me there and never woke up. That cat is being taken care of by everyone, as much as we can (Nobody but a very few family members live in our village back in our home country), but there is always someone around! He is soooooo cuddly, like we can cuddle with one another for the hole day and night and I love him very much. I love cats like i never knew I would.

I’ve had cats for 43 years. I’m on my first pair. Who got me my first cat? Mom who hated cats! But she loved Moon because she was mine. My parents considered her their daughter. When I had Taco, he was their son. I’m on cats four and five. They’re my kids, I refer to them as my kids, and people who know me ask me so how are the kids! And I tell the latest thing Money and Manny2’s done. It was two volunteer jobs as kennel cleaner that made me fall in love with cats. They’re affectionate and great companions. I’ll have cats until the day I take my last breath. They need me, I need them, I’m a willing servant.

Everytime someone says no cats or I'm not a cat person, guess what?? You will be, because of the charm they have!! Very magical creatures!! 😂😂
