I really don't know of any else that can offer a such amazing explanations and descriptions on any of the watches you have hosted on your channel Tim. Absolute perfection in describing any timepiece! Please keep the videos coming. Many thanks from Montreal!
Great tutorial and info into the 9F movement. I have the 003 model and of course we all read the instruction booklet!😂. Many thanks for the video 👍
great video, love them all. but (and correct me if i'm wrong!), i do believe you said you wanted to set the reference time to 5am (1:47), and then again (2:12) but in fact you set the reference time to 10:30am not 5:30am

I love this watch, but didn’t realize it wasn’t anti-magnetic, that makes me sad. Also, I thought quartz were tougher than mechanicals, but this makes it sound as if they are both equal as far as shock goes.....

A watch demagnetizer costs $11 on Amazon. Watch magnetisation is the most overblown fear in horology today. It's largely used as a selling point for new antimagnetic movements.

Yeah, I too was looking for something to get weird with without worry.
The citizen 0100 is accurate to +1 second per year
5:50 Really? My father have been shooting shotguns and cross country skiing with his Seiko quartz for about 20+ years. (It's a dressy model, bought some time in the 90's I believe). That's got to be in the thousands of shots with his 12 gauge, and over a thousand hours of xc skiing, and the quartz movement still runs fine. Are you sure this recommendation includes quartz pieces, and is not exclusive to mechanicals? Off course one should not treat a GS like a beater. I'm guessing that's what they're trying to say (in a more explicit way), if the statement includes quartz. I would however say that one of the best reasons for choosing quartz in the first place, is that you can feel quite safe doing those things if you so wish.
As i see it, the only way to not void the garantie is to leave the watch in the dealers shop😎🤠
Ottimo! Bellissimo submariner.store .
Please get gloves that fit you properly.
What a limited, complicated to set, $3500 fragile piece of garbage! My lowly Casio 'Gravity Master' has solar (luminous light) charging, sapphire glass, is radio controlled accurate to the second all year round and a small truck could run over it with hardly leaving a scratch. That's $850 for a carbon fibre and titanium body. - Hand polished stainless steel? How long is that going to last? And You will be the only one who cares.
