Dear Chef, I talk to myself too! The other day I heard that people who do that are smarter than most because they actually work things out in a better way than most other people!!! Now I’m not so embarrassed, I feel like I’m just doing something that makes me problem solve quickly! 😊

This is great. Love it. You always know the food will be good when the chef acts like an excited kid right before digging into some delicious food.

I’m not a fan of Grand Mariner, but it’s still enjoyable to watch you prepare these dishes Chef. Ya never know I may have to impress a pretty young lady and this would do it!! 😊 I Love the way you can laugh at yourself when things go wrong. You can safely skip the alcohol in this recipe. There's already vanilla extract here. Vanilla extract is made from a high proof alcohol like vodka with a vanilla bean/pod infusion. This dish is basically an airy custard with white chocolate.

@@privacyvalued4134 yes I’m actually well aware I can skip not so much the alcohol, but more importantly as I said the Grand Mariner! Never had a taste for it, so obviously I could substitute it with something else. The point of my comment was far less about the alcohol than it was to say what a pleasure it is to see Chef Jean Pierre at work doing what he Loves! As a child my dream was to own a bakery. As I got older cooking became a passion as I quickly wrote down the recipes while watching Graham Kerr on his Galloping Gourmet cooking show, because if you didn’t write them down right away you missed it with no way of seeing it again!! Before finding Chef Jean Pierre here my last great influencer for the better part of my cooking life was Anthony Bourdain as we shared a lot in common in our lives and philosophy. I’d probably make it a Limoncello soufflé to suit my taste. Thanks for your input though 👍

I can't wait to make this! I did the chocolate souffle & it came out so delicious I couldn't believe I made it! It was restaurant quality, not bragging on myself but on Chef's divine recipe! Over the years you have taught us how to make many desserts - Nut Crusted Chocolate Truffle, Cherry Clafoutis, Rum Raisin Creme Brulee, Chocolate Mousse, Creme Caramel, Chocolate Souffle, etc. - and now, Grand Marnier Souffle . Chef, you need to write a book with all of your quotes! One of my favorites is, “Where ever you find butter, you find happiness.” I made the Michelin 3 star mashed potatoes, after I bought the potato ricer and the tamis, which weren’t expensive, now I have two more kitchen tools that I can’t do without!
This is like my southern spoonbread recipe so I know I can do this! Thank you Chef! And thank you for showing your mistakes and having so much fun🤣💖
