Hey Charlotte, great review of the G30 and G40. I already had the G30 so naturally just upgraded to the G40 but havent brewed on it yet. Looking forward to doing a brew on the weekend.

Hey Troy, good move I think. It's been great for us so far !

Cheers - if you insert the filter the other way around, the temperature probe holds the black plug in place. Also, I wouldn't bother with the silicone seal around the bottom plate. Pretty sure the G40 has a minimum batch of 10L, not 25L.

True, I am not sure where I saw that it was 25L. My mistake. Don't mind the con about the 25L minimum batch then. The new unit is fantastic so far !

Thanks for the video. I thought David Heath mentioned you can do a batch as small as 10L?

Great comparison between G30 and G40. I am still brewing on the G30 but may upgrade next year to the G40 and use my old G30 as an HLT. Where are you based as sounds like a French accent? Enjoyed the video. Thanks

Hey Dan, I think it's a great choice. So much easier to brew on the G40. I am based in Melbourne, Australia. But yes, definitely French accent :) Cheers
