Our muralist friend @crazy_mister_sketch told us about his idea to save his abandoned middle school in the Austrian Alps. He brought together 60 artists to give the neglected structure a new purpose. Graffiti the most mis understood art! These artist are in a whole nother league! I get frustrated cause I'm old and I can't read most of it but it's amazing how these guys put it all together! I aspecialy love the idea of using what we already have and not build new! Broken window knows all about those old abandoned buildings! Great short guys! 💕💜❤️💙💜❤️💕💕

To be honest, we also can't read most of it. It doesn't have to do anything with age, haha. We are always fascinated about the stories we come across in these abandoned structures!

This is fabulous! I think the ideas expressed by the people of this village say a lot about what communities can accomplish in the face of “throw away society”. Those who came before us built things that have lasted thousands of years, yet today, buildings are torn down and replaced in under half a century. I wish this movement much success, and thank you for sharing it with us.🖤🇨🇦

Doing these interviews, we have learnt a lot! You don't need to torn down any building. Every structure can be reused and transformed!

Awesome artwork and done with just spray paint. amazing! And what a great way to revive an old building. Merry Christmas and Happy New year BWT team!

If you're back in Italy at some point, you should go there and visit. It's not thaaat far away, hahaha.

In the mid of 2022, a German Graffiti artist named Lukas Zeilinger came to our country, Bangladesh and introduced Graffiti art to this country Students and other people truly appreciated his work! I'm just thankful and appreciate each and every artist in the world! ❤️

I would love to see what's going on there - but it was also amazing to see how these artists brought street art to the rural parts of the Alps.

I've been living in Innsbruck for the last five years, I can't believe you guys were so close by! There's a lot of Crazy Mister Sketch's graffiti here in Innsbruck!

Oh wow, for real? You should visit the old school, it's not far away! We came to visit Crazy Mister Sketch in Innsbruck back in 2020 when we first met him and did a video together.

That would be a great setting for contemporary music! I’ve written some for string quartet and other ensembles that would be rad in that setting. What a great project!!

Wonderful stuff it completely connects with young generations

wow what a beautiful town that is. I love to wake up and see that everyday.

It was amazing to stay there for three days - especially after coming from Croatia where we did a 10-day hobo trip and jumped on rail cars to cross the country.

I like graffiti on rail cars when I'm stuck waiting for a train to pass. It's like a mobile art gallery. Major railroads should buy paint for kids and let them safely paint their cars.

That's true, that's nice to watch. I think most operators of cargo trains even tolerate graffiti on their rail cars.

Wir haben erst bei den Interviews verstanden, wie wichtig diese Arbeit ist. Wir sind nachhaltig beeindruckt! Ich hoffe, das Projekt läuft so weiter und erreicht noch viele Menschen!

Graffiti can be very cool as long as it's in appropriate places like that. There is a similar exemple in France with a factory that was already empty anyways and that got covered with amazing art pieces by a street artist. Too bad that there are people in this community with zero respect and ready to ruin historical/abandoned places for a bit of attention...

You're right, in many abandoned places graffiti can be disruptive and just rude. However, these places belong to nobody and they are shadow areas of society. Graffiti is just another way to express yourself. And if that's forbidden in the regular society, we think it's cool that there are these abandoned places where people can be creative without the fear of being punished.

Awesome project! How often do we hear "It will cost too much" from governments? I am sure all that means is "us and our rich friends can't make profit that way" so knock it down and build something new. If you're ever in the area, you can just go there. The graffiti will remain in the building.

I can appreciate the skills, and enjoy the wonderful actual pictures, but mostly this looks like everyday tagging for the most part..... more images would have been better

@@bwturbex I am open-minded I just don't like anything modern. I don't like modern art, modern architecture or anything modern for that matter. I even find repulsive the obsession with technology and AI. I'm all for back to basics, tradition and nature and of course classical beauty.
