Grace is absolutely one of my favorite ladies ever!

Thank you for posting this. I watched it because of Grace Slick...but I had forgotten how good Whoopi Goldberg's show was. They said it best (I'm paraphrasing): The most civilized thing that we can do is simply talk!

Had recorded this interview back in '93 on the VCR. Somehow over time I lost the tape, and always wanted to see this again. Low and behold!...here it is! Glad you posted this nice conversation between these two iconic women. Thank you.

Jeepers , grace is quite the educator , genius and humanist. Love Whoopi -another super intelligent humanist.

Great interview. Loved Jefferson Airplane. Don't recall actually sitting down to watch this. Was in early 20's . 😻😻😺😺❤️💜💜🙏🙌

I always felt like these two women would hit it off .

First time seeing this and MAN---- Grace is so incredibly hot (in spite of what she says about over 50s...).........the epitome of the words articulate and insightful and intelligent...........and she really cared about animals, to boot (really hope she still does.........)

I read a recent interview where Grace said (and I paraphrase) "if it's over 70 you don't want to poke it." The was once a time, however...

A very interesting interview with a woman of many talents and impressive mind. While the supposition that fairy tales can instigate a desire to explore drugs is intriguing, it is probably a bit too close to a simple cause and effect explanation. Grace Slick can effortlessly roam over so many subjects, it is a pleasure to listen to her. As to the subject of a woman over fifty: depends largely on the man and whether breeding is on his mind. She certainly was then still very attractive and would (by some) have been chosen despite her inability to reproduce.

Grace famously was invited to a tea at the Nixon White House....she had gone to college with his daughter.

@@ClevelandLiveMusic ...and she tried to dose Nixon! But they wouldn't let her in, because they recognized who she was (plus she made the mistake of bringing Abbie Hoffman).
