This interview was back in circa 2008, and Grace is very smart and insightful, she speaks about the “invisible bugs,” ie., viruses being more dangerous, and killing people more easily, than a lion outside on the street. This interview is about spirituality, and I’m happy for Grace that she’s very open to God, and hoping she’ll find her way home to Jesus, the Prince of peace, the only way, the truth, and the light.

Very interesting video! It shows that a low budget interview, with an intelligent person, is way more interesting than a Hollywood "block buster" made on a budget of hundreds of millions of dollars, with slam bang action, special effects, etc. This is WAY more interesting than most of the garbage shoveled out as "feature film" these days.

I have been getting to know Grace from these interviews. I feel like we could sit down and chat over coffee for quite some time. We seem to be on the same wave length about a lot of things. One thing, we both have benefited from AA. We both have associative minds where one topic will trigger another that's related in some way. It's taken this long for myself and others to see Grace as more than some headline of acting outrageous or saying something critical in a witty way.

She is intelligent, has common sense, educated and has known a great many people and situations, and her mind is open and eager to learn, yet her trust in the system that repeats the same pattern which churns out leaders with the same agenda seems to have passed under her intellectual radar, during this interview I was expecting to have her view on shadow governments, powerless presidents/gov, the greed at the top creating the poverty below, but nothing, because she was born into money, went on to attract more so has no appreciation of life without it.

Grace Slick has been a visionary (even without acid lol) since the day she was born, and continues to be - and this second interview is proof - as is her first interview of course. She's actual a literary genius in all truth. And she doesn't even have official 'higher education status' enjoyed by so many ivory tower professors in universities over the globe. She doesn't need it that's why. Grace Slick could debate the world's future security with the best of the best and still eat 'em up. She just KNOWS. Her message; 'There ISN'T a LION at the door'. Stop RE-ACTING and start RESPONDING intelligently world. 'He/They who have the biggest balls & toys as military supremacy' isn't the best way to conduct diplomatic negotiations. And that includes you all; USA, Russia, China, North Korea, and ISIL. For 2019 I would like for the following list of conflicts taking place in the world presently to reduce in numbers and be somehow solved that the killing of innocent people STOPS. 1. NORTH KOREA 2. U.S. - SAUDI-IRAN rivalry 3. The ROHINGYA crisis: MYANMAR and BANGLADESH 4. YEMEN 5. AFGHANISTAN 6. SYRIA 7. THE SAHEL 8. DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO 9. UKRAINE 10. VENEZUELA

I hear her acknowledge rights of all the religions and allowing ppl to engage in whatever they desire (tho both she &interviewer DID bash the Pope/Catholics once or twice)... What stands out to me is her honesty&inquiry too which I like She’s clearly never dove in deeply and actually studied/practiced-or understood ADEQUATELY the eastern religions. If she did,she would appreciate more how religious formalities/ceremonies/habits can have their usefulness towards helping a person on their spiritual path. Don’t think she was downright “knocking it”-she said it wasn’t for her ;but she may be “losing out” on what the actual religion has to offer that’s all. How she viewed all religions was respectful though

Grace isn't quite as "leftist" or "progressive" as she says, In another interview, she said that prisoners should be used for human medical experimentation, and also that they should be used for what amounts to slave labor ("Make 'em work sixteen hours a day!"). Sounds as if she wants to go back to the bad old days of the Tuskegee experiments, Parchman Farm, Cummins Prison Farm, and Angola.

You're right. She really shows a great deal of common sense, in this interview and others. "I love this country..." -- you won't hear those words out of a 2021 leftist. In other interviews she attributes the drug epidemic in part to the loss of religious ritual and community, declares her belief in God, says her parents were Republicans and "that was fine with me", observes that humans are built to eat meat ... If only today's progressives could be this intelligent!

Or perhaps she means Corporations, as in Inc., the organizations that are not only hire and help to give money in the pockets of those workers but rather work entities responsible for: - underpaying their workers, -not providing essential benefits such as comprehensive heath care to their employees, - not wanting to provide safe and humane working conditions(see Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire), - which exploit the vulnerabilities of underprivileged communities - cheapen the quality of the produced economic good/service, all in the interest of making more $$$? Or, would I prefer to live in a country that is better determined by the underpinnings of “socialism”, in which there exists a ruling government that ensures a fair provision of essential goods and basic needs of all inhabitants? Give me “socialism” or give me death! (I am sorry for the reduction of the current question to a few initial impressionistic responses on my part- this is in an area that deserves more careful thought and consideration than I can do right now….)

Lenin said that Socialism is just a way to introduce Communism to a society that isn't quite ready to embrace Communism yet. In other words, socialism IS communism. ...and Scandinavian countries aren't Socialist. They aren't even "democratic socialist" (whatever that means Lol). They're just capitalist countries with high taxes that fund social welfare systems. I absolutely LOVE Grace and I love my boomer parents, but they're so painfully naive when it comes to politics. ..and they're just downright ignorant when it comes to geopolitics. They have some of the obvious big picture stuff figured out: War is bad. Big banks are bad. Greed is bad. Poverty is bad. They just haven't quite figured out that the left is every bit as corrupt and dangerous as the right. They have trouble comprehending that both sides are against us and we're on our own. They still put faith in people like Bernie the rich socialist and and Tulsi the secret warhawk. It's up to US to fix this. The system is broken beyond repair. The time for "fixing it from within" is long gone.

It's easy for Grace, a millionaire, to be now a socialist. She's already made it. It's a hell of a lot tougher to become rich in a socialist system.

I'm by no means rich, but Capitalism favors the rich, and Socialism is a fair, more humanitarian system. You don't have to have a lot of money to be happy, but you do have to have enough money to not worry about your basic needs, such as water, food, clothing, housing and health care. Grace makes a good point about "giving it back". Unfortunately, most rich people don't think that way and are so afraid of someone taking "it" from them. WWJD?

@@freedomfighter628 Socialism is a fair humanitarian system? Are you out of your fucking mind? You might want to let the 100 million dead bodies that piled up under socialist regimes in the 20th century that. Socialism is quite possibly the worst idea in human history. Because YOU claim you don't need alot of money to be happy don't make that same assumption for the rest of us.

+Cindy G they don't use happiness as the baseline. Maybe they did for one poll. It is generally done by quality of life, and include a list of what that entails. I'm sorry but Finland, and Sweden got us so beat in every way it isn't even funny. You say you want to choose where your money goes? Well you don't, no matter how much you contribute to the charities of your choice. Mentally unstable people have a place to live, and food to eat. College is free, and a place to live while studying. All from their taxes! We have tanks, and guns, and planes, and bombs. When this war ends we will be in another, then another, and another. Get the point yet?

The NSDAP and Hitler promoted national socialism and that is what the Scandinavian countries have adopted for their homogeneous populations. It does not fit the aggressive individualism and self-reliance that created the United States as the free-est country ever ... including freedom FROM government.
