I love the fact that she thinks exactly like me. I'm also in my mid twenty's and I've never done it because of not wanting to settle with just any guy. Of course I'm wishing for that moment to happen soon but I need to feel something special for the guy and I want a true relationship, not just some shallow heat of the moment fling. It's so weird finding characters like Grace nowadays. I hope to see more representation of this kind of mindset of wanting to wait for the right guy in TV.

I totally understand! I’m 22 and a virgin for basically the same reason, i never found someone I felt comfortable with and I already have had 2 jobs plus school and volunteering once a week or more so I never had much time to even make friends. I don’t judge people who don’t take sex as seriously as I do, actually my sister as an ironic type of joke convinced all our coworkers and friends I was some sort of heart breaker who had more then one boyfriend and girlfriend, I didnt really care though because I saw no real issues if I was, as long as everyone’s happy and safe I’m totally okay with it But I can’t deny I do feel like an outcast for it, i never see anyone like us in shows or movies anymore and it kinda feels lonely, I’m happy with my appearance and personality, I’m happy with my choice and I don’t plan to change it but it would be nice to see someone like us more in entertainment.

I'm the same and this movie really got me. I read some comments on the internet and was very sad how people think, that Grace is a drama queen, puritan, childish or stupid. When I am reading these opinions, I'm more afraid to open up to someone in this topic. Literally two guys ask me to hang out and I told myself YOU GOT THIS! (just like Grace) and then I ran away. I wasn't feel good about it. I would really like to have somebody to speak with, but I'm afraid that nobody would understand. Thanks for your comments! It's nice to know I am not alone in this. :(

Their chemistry was amazing!! Best romance of 2022!! I loved this movie so much, the cast was amazing they did SUCH a great job portraying their roles.

I happened upon this movie so randomly and was expecting to watch a few moments of it but ended up watching till the end and enjoying it. I related so much with Grace's character and thought the movie was overall good and written well.

such a real movie man, one of my faves

I’m 24 yrs old, never had sex, never been on a date, let alone had a bf. It’s not something i truly want. I do think it’s a insecurity thing tho all my life I’ve been a big girl. Abt 2 yrs ago I started to make a change and realize I wasn’t going down a good path. I began loosing weight, I’ve lost about 50 pounds so far. Not as much as I wanted, but I’m getting there. I’m also an introvert so the thought of putting myself out there is scary. I don’t mind tho I like it and I don’t want a guy to see me undressed with the body I have right now. I rather loose weight than have sex or date. Sometimes I think it is strange since ppl begin loosing their virginity in high school. But I guess all in it’s own time. Why rush?

Damnnn. 🔥 Also just the sound of this guy’s voice is attractive.

I liked the movie very much. It is not actually a love story, it is an example of how to approach people like Grace and that it could take a long time to find someone you click with, and otherwise, you just do not bother. The only thing that is implied in the movie, but most likely impossible in real life, is that Grace is going to change and open up to other people. This just does not happen to such people. And she will be thinking of Carter (possibly) for the rest of her life, since he was the first she really, really liked, and for her character that means that she is doomed for a very, very long time. :)

Thanks to your edit that popped up on my feed, randomly that made me wanna go search for the movie. After I watched the movie I came back to continue this edit. What a movie. I’m so sad that people are left out in watching this gem. It’s one of my all time favourite movie now. It’s simple yet so unique and realistic. And this kinda movies doesn’t come out often. What's wrong with being virgin in 20's?? I truly felt as though this movie intended to encapsulate a full relationship in one long night. There's so much beauty to the movie when considering the ending. They go separate ways despite making a connection, but they left each other with lessons learned. When relationships break up, we tend to think about what will no longer be, but forget to value what was.

I don't know but this feeling is so confused. I'm in a relationship with a man who loves me 50 percent and I'm having an attraction towards another man who is the son of my rent owner. I never talk to him. I only gaze at him from far away. I don't know whether he is attracted towards me but he too gazes at me. Our eyes lock sometimes mysteriously. I'm so confused.
