You did a few things wrong with frenzy, though it wasn't the thing you thought you did wrong, You can't do mission actions when frenzied. That's doors. Also when a goat attacks someone during their activation and they lose all their wounds, they gain a frenzy token, and then immediately die. So the combat at about 33;33 makes no sense. Goat was dead already. The way it works if you play it right is that goats only want to make charges they know they can win, and usually they will die in their second charge and that will be it. So killing goats becomes a combo of wounding them, then letting them charge AND killing them and avoiding their frenzy activation.

I'm not seeing how the Multi-Spectrum Array allowed the shot at the Fellgor in cover with conceal at 23:49. MSA disallows obscurement, not Cover+Conceal. The model he was shooting with was the Marksman which doesn't have any cover breaking abilities, and there was no Voxbreaker in range for an Auspex Scan. The beastie was clearly behind cover and had a conceal order.

Ah okay cheers for the clarification. We end up playing so many different teams it can get tough to keep all the rules together. I'll try to remember for next time they have an outing.

@@beanie1636 More of a question, as I don't know Phobos terribly well and have yet to get my Fellgors. I'm bouncing back and forth between Kill Team and Boarding Actions and the rulesets don't mesh particularly well, so often I'll misremember this or that and apply rules to the other game. All told though, I really like the energy and general joy you two bring to these match-ups and I am (re-)learning a lot from watching your batreps. That trick of hogging the top of the center objective to disallow charges was genius! Imma have to try that with my oil pump from Octarius next time I fight Gellerpox.

31:24 the medics head can see the end of the pistol on the goat behind the green crystal thing, so he would have in fact been able to shoot here instead of forcing to dash for last APL

Those Beastmen are so cool. You've done a great job realising them. Also great to see to return of the Sentinels of Brobnar! Are they set to recieve some reinforcements anytime soon? I believe there are some very pretty new models coming out in June... just saying.😉

There is NO way that’s how frenzy works, great video but I refuse to believe it. Also that mine sucks, I thought it did way more shit when someone got within 3’’ of it.

@@LiveAndLetsDice Definitely not enough ap to fight. But I don't even think you would've gotten to engagement range. It seems like it goes off the second you hit 3 inches away from it and then you can't move any further. I guess it depends on whether the mine goes off in the middle of your charge ("the first time an enemy operative moves within 3") or at the end of it.

Will you be using the Votaan in a future batrep?
