Thanks, Lawson, for some good, thoughtful advice. I'm definitely in the "Have wee 'uns that would not leave dangerous chemicals well enough alone" camp. Good to know that there's a viable alternative to enamels and oils out there should I want to branch into it.

There’s something in this, like travel scrabble or similar tiny games, perhaps magnetised in a folding carry case that is also the board 🤔

Ahh, Tinyhammer! For when you're losing and absolutely do not want to have to chew your opponent's models! Those sculpts are great. So much character at such a small scale! Great paint jobs too!

I see what you did there 😀. Me and beanie always have a laugh. I did mention a bloopers reel during this filming. We messed around quite a lot with how to present the planet name. Hence my interjection when beanie is introducing 😂
Sorry about this Beanie, 10th took what was the coolest phase of 9th and destroyed it and psychic sucks now. Maybe 11th edition will have psychic phases again and having a psychic army might be good then
I like that it’s part of the shooting phase now. But I do think it needs expanding to include abilities like 9th. When it’s just “auras” it’s not so fun

Tau for the win! Yep unfortunately tsons aren't exactly what they were before. In competitive games you have to run Magnus or you can't win. Not a great sign!
I get the sneaking suspicion that Beanie's not a fan of the thousand sons combat patrol rules... Those Drukkhari look amazing! Nice work, Rapid! Also, the Drukkhari Combat patrol looks like a pretty good one. It's definitely one to get before GW make it worse come the codex release!

@@samuelharmssambamsjm269 naaaaa, just start a new project off like me 😂. I have an ynnari force as well which I’m hoping to fold some of these Drukhari into on occasion. What’s the plan with the ynnari? A consistent paint scheme across them all? Or a mixture of different craft worlds coming together?
@@rapid40k you're a bad influence! I always loved the Iyaden lore. The exiled sons and daughters returning to save their home In my mind, it would be Wraith constructs/Vehicles supported by Guardians, and Kabalites in raiders to support, glued together by Prince Yriel with some corsairs and Yvraine and the Visarch to make it legal. The plan would be to unify the colours (probably not mass yellow unless I'm feeling brave) by inverting them, so say yellow/Red (primary) Blue (secondary) Red/yellow (spot) on the Aeldari, and then Blue (Primary) Yellow/red(secodary) Red/yellow (spot) in the Drukkhari /corsairs, maybe darkening the colours for the Drukkhari. Perhaps a project for 11th ed... 😅

OK now you've raised the bar with the twists - we need to have a fully metagame - a kill team in which the teams are fighting over the units which are battling in a regular 40k match being played simultaneously - each objective seized lets the player deep strike another unit into the game 😂 oh the insanity!

Also, at 27:05, that's not how Stun works. Stun: "The first time you strike with a critical hit, select one of your opponent’s normal hits from that combat to be discarded." You can't discard a normal hit with Stun and then parry; you either strike with the critical hit and Stun discards a normal hit, or you parry and discard a normal hit.
14:30 the medic can't revive the flamer gunner, because the flamer was within engagement range of the bomb squig at the point that the flamer was incapacitated. The bomb squig is still around at that point because it's only incapacitated and removed after the shooting attacks are resolved.
And how did he manage to dash through the barricade? The traverse costs 2' ;)
