Be aware there are 2 types of Throttle bodies for the VE and VF V8s.
A sliver throttle plate (butterfly) one and A gold throttle plate (butterfly) one.
My vehicle uses a Silver one, Linked above.

I got a Goss throttle body for my xr6 but noticing Goss throttle body don’t have anywhere for me to put my tps sensor as I got two plugs that connect to my original throttle body but Goss only got 1 plug idnno if thats normal or did I get sent the wrong one lol

Hey mate I've read they drill the hole to help smooth it out in transition from no throttle to part throttle did you notice any difference?

No, with the hole was terrible almost undriveable. With out the hole is much much better. My understanding is it is done if you have a big cam and if your idle control motor has limit range of movement. The LS doesn't have this issue. Unknown why they drilled it, Because with the hole it was worse in every way. No hole now and much much better.

@@taptapindustries2580 yeah ok I have a cam too but not big and I have a hole in mine so I was worried putting the new throttle body on it would need retuning
Hey mate......ive got 2010 ss wagon with the L98 engine shes got a gold butterfly on her..... Was yours gold before you got the newy... Apparently theres 2 types silver and gold....whats difference mate?

My understanding is they are not interchangeable. They rotate in opposite directions and this somehow is an issue. I'm not sure exactly why. But I was told if yours is silver stick to silver. If yours is gold stick to gold. If you follow those links I think there are both available. Good luck
