Very helpful video, Thank you.
Best man. Thanks 😊
Awesome. My handbreak is working fine now. Thanks a lot.
Check and adjust your floats before installing your diaphragm and needle. Soaking the diaphragms in fuel is a bad idea, and it's expensive to repair. Measure both sides of the float to check for twist.
Hi! I just got a problem with my makhita 181. The motor does seem to work a "littlebit" i tried to take it apart to clean it a bit. So heres my problem. The motor works as long as i help it with my hand to give the rotor a spin "mechanically". Then push the powerbutton and it spins around. If i then let it come to a complete stop, the button does not manage to start it, i then have to push the rotor a couple of spins to get it going. Hope you understand half of what i just wrote.. 😅 do you think this could be a motor issue? Even if it kinda works with a little help?
Yes, I would expect the motor to be the problem.
Type DUR181.pdf into Google. The first two links.
I have this bike awsome bike I just ripped out the airbox to install a new pod filter instead will see gow it goes I love the Dr 200s aswel 👌
Thanks for your help mate .
I have this bike, it's been used for a long time. By the time i inherited it, i noticed two problems: There's a constant revving sound when you stop and put it in neutral after a long ride and it goes off when you put it in neutral without a bit of revving
Love that scream
Absolute legend thanks mate 👍
Awesome thanks for that, just did mine
Do you happen to know the outside thread dia of the oil pressure sensor itself?

Hey mate is there a way to remove it without opening the glovebox?

What’s the exhaust setup mate?
It's a black Ops system, the bigger of their options. I have another video about it if you check out my channel. Cheers
How do I get my check engine light to go off on my 2007 commodore?
U need an old reader. If you search my channel I have video on it
Sounds mint mate. Too loud/drony for a daily?
It's pretty loud. It's not drony. But it is pretty loud for a daily. It isn't crazy loud. But I'd prefer it a little softer as daily. But it turns heads and is not obnoxious.
So what symptoms you get when this is faulty?
How do you clear contact dealer?
Stock lines certainly aren't great but they've lasted 20 years so I'll probably go with them again. Maybe try a vacuum bleeder?
Thanks mate, you make it easy to do.
👍🏾
Cheers mate 👍🏾
I just done mine and heres a few steps that will make it easier for ya guys. Remove both windshield wiper arms... Then remove all the plastic push clips on the black plastic cowling thats under the wipers and it removes in 2 pieces. (Remove the passenger side piece first if its a aussie VE). That will also give you the opportunity to access ya cabin filter and filter box, to clean out all the leaves and dust that builds up in it. It only adds a extra 10mins to the job and is piss easy. You Don't have to remove the inlet manifold at all as some other KZread clios suggest and the job is easier again if you follow these extra steps. Your stress levels will be at a all time low... Ps Be aware there are 2 different senders available too and of course, i was sold the wrong one. One other thing i found too was. If you use a normal 27mm deep socket it starts to slip around the sensors as it has a little bit of slack in it. I ended up using a impact deep socket (the thick black ones that you use on a impact gun and its a tight perfect fit and wont slip)... hope this helps..
Thanks for the tips. From my experience You can access it with out removing all that stuff. From memory just a short extension, a deep socket and socket wrench is all that is required. Can get in with out the removal of anything else. 🤙
If the cv slide is working properly under vacuum shouldn't it be slower!?!!!! The vacuum isn't working properly if its quick...
More content on sv1000s plss
Cheers bro 🙌🏽
Thanks, great tip 👍🏼.
Hey mate good review. I put on the exact same exhaust system & headers on to my partners ss about 9 months ago and haven't had any real issues with it yet. however I have noticed that the coating on the headers has started to fall off and stink a little bit. Just wondering if yours have done the same. Also the exhaust is a little quiet, though perfect for everyday driving. Black ops recently brought out the muffler delete pipes. I might give them a try and see how they go and if they too loud I might remove the centre muffler instead as that might make it just that little bit louder like our other mates.
This sucks I can't find info anywhere on how to remove the gass tank
What grease you used
Is it possible to remove the hole trimmer head, without disassemble the motor etc. ?
No
Legend! Took longer to watch the video than do the job. That'll make the missus happy Cheers
Your supposed to Start at the Brakes Shoes, to check if the Automatic Adjusters are Working .. all's your doing is stretching the Cable more without Inspecting the Brakes themselves... Unless you checked your Shoes Prior ? This is why Cars Fail and Hand-brakes. I guess you keep mechanics employed though by showing the Dodgy way 👍👍 I
Previous video shoes the brake shoe adjustment.
Great video. Do you still have your SV1000? I'm in Melbourne and thinking a SV650/1000 ride day would be awesome. Just imagine the sound of all them twins! 🤪
I got a Goss throttle body for my xr6 but noticing Goss throttle body don’t have anywhere for me to put my tps sensor as I got two plugs that connect to my original throttle body but Goss only got 1 plug idnno if thats normal or did I get sent the wrong one lol
Sounds like it might be the wrong one 🤷
Thank you sir
Hey mate......ive got 2010 ss wagon with the L98 engine shes got a gold butterfly on her..... Was yours gold before you got the newy... Apparently theres 2 types silver and gold....whats difference mate?
My understanding is they are not interchangeable. They rotate in opposite directions and this somehow is an issue. I'm not sure exactly why. But I was told if yours is silver stick to silver. If yours is gold stick to gold. If you follow those links I think there are both available. Good luck
@@taptapindustries2580 ok thanks man 👍.....I'll buy a Goldie still
